Peloton has announced the launch of the DMX Artist Series classes. As part of the platform’s celebration of 50 years of Hip-Hop, the addition of the DMX Artist Series to Peloton’s library is a fitting tribute to one of Hip-Hop’s most respected and missed icons. DMX was a rapper known for his high-octane performances and his music’s raw essence, making him a perfect match for Peloton’s energetic and immersive workout experience.
DMX, whose real name was Earl Simmons, was known for his fierce lyrics and energetic anthems. His music inspired countless fans and artists and remains an enduring staple of the Hip-Hop genre. The classes, aimed to honor DMX’s legacy, will be available November 9 and can be accessed through the Peloton app or the Peloton Bike and Tread.
What Members Can Expect
Peloton members will have access to a total of seven (7!!) DMX Artist Series classes across cycling, running, strength, rowing, and yoga. The classes will feature instructors including Cliff Dewanger, Jess Sims, Mila Lazar, Joslyn Thompson Rule, Dr. Chelsea Jackson Roberts, Tunde Oyeneyin, and Adrian Williams. Jess and Adrian’s classes are both listed as Premier (so already recorded and dropped on the platform on demand). Also noteworthy – there will be a 20-minute Lanebreak run dropping on November 10th and a 20-minute Lanebreak ride dropping Monday, November 13. Tell us in the comments which class(es) you are looking forward to the most.
