Introduction to Strength+ App
On the heels of introducing its new strength app, Strength+ through an announcement shared via email to Peloton Members and on their Main OnePeloton Instagram channel, users who were accepted into the test are now able to start using the app. Users who were accepted into the test were required to have iOS 17 devices to participate and provide feedback on Peloton’s newest fitness tool.
The Strength+ app is designed to provide personalized workouts that adapt to individual progress, making it easier for users to achieve their fitness goals. This Beta test represents a new advancement in Peloton’s ongoing push into personalized strength training, adding a portable tool to its fitness ecosystem that has been evolving since the Peloton app debuted in 2018.
Spots in the Beta test were limited, but those Members who applied and were accepted for the Beta test are already exploring the Strength+ app. Curious about what the experience is like? We’ve got all the details for you.
AI Machine Learning-Powered Workouts
In a departure from it’s at-home fitness-centric ethos, the marquee feature of the Strength+ app is its use of machine learning to create personalized workout plans that can be used in gyms and fitness facilities. As users complete exercises, the app collects data on their performance, such as reps and form. This information is then used to tailor future workouts, ensuring that each session is challenging, but also achievable. The app’s algorithm is designed to adjust weights, sets, and reps based on real-time progress, offering a more customized training experience.
Interface and Experience
Peloton appears to have focused on making the Strength+ app as user-friendly as possible, with a clean interface that allows for easy navigation. Members who have relied on the Gym feature in the Peloton app may have a sense of déjà vu, as there is a little bit of feature overlap and Gym feature improvement. In the Strength+ app, users can access a wide range of exercises and programs, all of which are designed for people of all fitness levels. The app also provides real-time feedback and suggestions with the goal of helping users to improve their form and prevent injuries.
Integration with Existing Peloton Ecosystem
Once it’s out of the Beta test and widely available for mass download, the Strength+ app will seamlessly integrate with the broader Peloton ecosystem, allowing Members to track their progress across all platforms. We have reached out to Peloton with questions about planned pricing of the app once it is widely released, but they declined to comment.
