Peloton Announces Multi-Year Partnership with NBA and WNBA

Peloton has joined forces with the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) to become an official fitness partner of the leagues. The multi-year partnership includes special access, offers and experiences for Peloton Members and fans, including live and on-demand games streamed through compatible Peloton devices. Both the NBA and WNBA, alongside Peloton, will also develop league-themed classes to engage fans and promote health and wellness.

NBA League Pass Integration on Peloton Devices

The Peloton community will gain unprecedented access to NBA and WNBA content with NBA League Pass integration on compatible Peloton devices set to launch in the 2023-24 NBA season. The Peloton Entertainment hub will allow users to stream live and on-demand NBA League Pass games.

Peloton x NBA Fitness

The NBA and Peloton are also creating co-branded fitness classes for Peloton members and NBA fans during each league’s respective season.  From strength and conditioning to basketball skills, recovery, nutrition and mental wellness, the NBA and Peloton will produce a mix of networking and exclusive programming to focus on health and wellness.  Dare we guess that Ally Love (on-court host of the Brooklyn Nets), Jess Sims (on-court host of the New York Liberty) and Alex Toussaint (two-time appearance in the NBA’s All-Star Celebrity Game) will have heavy involvement?

Peloton x WNBA

The Peloton x WNBA collaboration will focus on several WNBA-themed initiatives that will be revealed in the lead-up to the league’s 2024 season. Peloton and the WNBA will join forces to produce wellbeing-focused programming, virtual runs and rides, and a range of other unique content, designed to engage WNBA fans and promote health and wellness.

Peloton’s Commitment to Community

Leslie Berland, Chief Marketing Officer of Peloton, said: “Peloton members are NBA and WNBA fans, and this collaboration is going to bring amazing content and experiences to them and all fans of both leagues…we’re excited to join forces and achieve exactly that.” The partnership with the NBA and WNBA is part of Peloton’s ongoing commitment to bringing like-minded members and fans together through community-facing initiatives.

The partnership is an exciting step for both Peloton and the NBA and WNBA, who are dedicated to promoting fitness, sport, and community through their respective platforms. So, whether you’re watching a game or sweating it out before or after tip-off, Peloton will be ready to help you stay engaged, active, and motivated.
