Join the Peloton 20 Million Minutes Challenge for Mental Health Awareness

Peloton is hosting an ambitious 24-hour challenge to encourage its members to move, connect, and contribute to a significant cause. Starting at 12:30pm (ET) on May 17 and running through 12:30pm (ET) on May 18, the Peloton community is invited to collectively achieve a remarkable 20 Million Minutes of exercise. This challenge not only promises personal benefits for participants but also supports a greater mission in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month.

Challenge Benefits

Movement plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our mental health. The Peloton 20 Million Minutes Challenge provides an excellent opportunity for members to prioritize their mental well-being through exercise, while also contributing to a collective goal. Participating in this event can offer a sense of community, accomplishment, and the intrinsic reward of knowing you’re supporting a cause dedicated to mental health awareness.

Maximize Your Minutes with Two 2-for-1 Classes

To rally the troops and add an extra layer of fun to the challenge, Peloton has scheduled two special 2-for-1 classes. The first is a 30-minute Walk + Run with Adrian and Alex T, going live at 11:30am ET on May 18. That class will be immediately followed by a 30-minute Ride with Tunde and Camila, scheduled for 12:00pm (ET) the same day. If all goes according to plan, 20 Million Minutes (if not more!) should be achieved by the end of that Ride.

Supporting Project Healthy Minds

Upon hitting the 20 Million Minutes mark, Peloton will honor its commitment to Project Healthy Minds, showcasing the power of collective action towards a meaningful cause. This gesture underscores Peloton’s dedication to promoting mental health and well-being, not just within its community but also across wider society.

According to a new Press Release, Peloton and special friends including Cleveland Browns’ Myles Garrett and the Connecticut Suns’ Brionna Jones are encouraging Members and beyond to come together as a unified community. Friends of Peloton including New York Jets Linebacker Jermaine Johnson, New York Jets Defensive Tackle Quincy Williams, New York Jets Running Back Breece Hall, New York Giants Linebacker Kayvon Thibodeaux and Philadelphia Eagles Cornerback James Bradberry IV will be live at Peloton Studios NY and virtually on the Leaderboard on May 18 to support the cause and the 20 Million Minutes Challenge.

Additionally: As music is a vital part of the Peloton experience, it was a natural extension for brand partner Warner Music Group to align efforts. This May, Warner Music Group will be Peloton’s Community Partner for Mental Health Awareness Month.  To bring to life the power of music and movement, Peloton and Warner Music Group are co-curating playlists for various Peloton classes throughout the month and preparing a special “Mindful Music” playlist that will be available to the public on the Peloton and Warner Music Group Spotify accounts.
