Why you loved them!
Sometimes it’s hard to pick just one favorite (clear by the number of bookmarked classes we have to “take later”), but these reviews make it easy! Here’s what the TCO Community had to say about their favorite classes from the last week.
1. Favorite Run
07/25/2024 30 Minute Anitta Run with Selena Samuela
Diana Volk loved this run, saying “Selena’s Anitta run was amazing – if you want to explore Brazilian funk this is a great class and Selena’s cues are perfect for every level runner.” If you haven’t moved to Anitta’s music, check out her YouTube Channel – her music is very versatile, which makes it perfect for every modality of workout!
2. Favorite Split Program
Intermediate 3 Day Split with Rebecca Kennedy
If you didn’t think lifting as heavy as you could for 45 minutes could be fun, you’ve got to try Rebecca’s 3 day split! This program just dropped, and there’s already a lot of buzz around it, with good reason. Barbie Fisher (#Barbiegal) recommended this program, which consists of three 45 minute classes per week that are designed to be repeated over a number of weeks. Barbie said “Rebecca really encourages you to lift heavy. I thought my heavy was 20 pds, but I am lifting 30 pds in her program. It is a beast, but I love how she instructs. I probably will do 4-6 weeks of it.” This program and Peloton’s other split classes are a great way to track your progress over time and marvel at your own strength gains! 3. Favorite Power Zone Ride
07/28/2024 45 Minute Power Zone Ride with Christine D’Ercole
Kristin Lewandowski Aziz, a self-described “long time listener and follower, first time poster” recommended this class and she said it was so challenging that it could also double as an unstackable class. Kristin said “I just had to post about this class. Maybe it’s because I was lucky enough to take it live at PSNY, but my vote for favorite ride and favorite unstackable are one in the same – Christine’s 45 minute Power Zone Max from July 28th. Christine took us into alternating 30 second zone 6/zone 1 and zone 7/zone 1 intervals with 4 minute zone 1 and 2 recoveries in between each set. It was tough but doable with Christine’s great coaching and encouragement. What a fun and breathless sweat fest! took us into alternating 30 second zone 6/zone 1 and zone 7/zone 1 intervals with 4 minute zone 1 and 2 recoveries in between each set. It was tough but doable with Christine’s great coaching and encouragement. What a fun and breathless sweat fest!”
4. Favorite Mobility Class
05/14/2024 20 Minute Full Body Mobility Class with Ross Rayburn
We’re so glad that Ross’ content is still available – and we’re also glad one of this weeks’ recommendations is a body mobility class, which is so important as a complement to any type of workout. Sonya Norman picked this class, saying “For each exercise Ross first had you engage muscles for stability, which enhanced the mobility part of the movement. It was so effective and I felt great afterwards! And the playlist was great!” You get to enjoy songs from Hozier and Billie Eilish, among others, while improving your mobility.
5. Favorite Unstackable Strength
07/20/2024 60 Minute Total Body Strength with Adrian Williams
Felicia Allen recommended this as her favorite class and also an unstackable workout. “Adrian announces his weights and his heavy weight is 60 pounds, just for reference. The class starts off cool with some heavy lifting sets then transitions to conditioning with medium weights to where you question everything you ate that morning because it’s on it’s way back up 🤢. But I’d do it all again 😄” Only the Peloton community would understand why that description makes us all want to take this class right away!
