The Clip Out Top Five Favorite Peloton Classes

TCO Top 5 Favorite Peloton classes: Stay motivated with this week’s picks (1/22/2024)

Every Monday, we ask the Clip Out community to share their favorite class from the last week. Your stories of love, sweat, and tears always inspire us to keep moving. We are excited to share the five most enthusiastic nominations (in no particular order) and a quick review of each class. Read on for our weekly dose of motivation!

This week’s favorite Peloton classes:

  1. 11/13/23 45 min Row Bootcamp: Full Body with Katie Wang
  2. 12/17/23 30 min 80s Pop Ride with Ally Love
  3. 1/10/24 10 min Arms & Light Weights with Kirsten Ferguson
  4. 1/18/24 30 min Earth, Wind & Fire Ride with Leanne Hainsby
  5. 9/10/23 60 min Pop Run with Jeffrey McEachern

Why you loved them!

Sometimes it’s hard to pick just one favorite, but these reviews make it easy! Here’s what the TCO Community had to say about their favorite classes from the last week.

1. Favorite Peloton Row Bootcamp

11/13/23 45 min Row Bootcamp: Full Body with Katie Wang

Listener Sonya Norman is bringing the second ever Row Bootcamp to the TCO Top 5!

“I loved the 5-segment format,” she said. “My legs are still sore from the lower body floor segment!  I love Katie’s personality and her positive energy!”

This bootcamp is structured as row, full body, row, full body, and row to finish. The first full body section is three sets of goblet squats, curtsey lunges, and sumo deadlifts. The second full body section kicks off with a plank block made up of dumbbell drag pushes (similar to a plank passthrough), plank pike reaches, and pushups, then takes you through an upper body strength EMOM before repeating the plank block again.

Katie’s playlist is upbeat and eclectic, with music from David Guetta, Lil Wayne, Lenny Kravitz, Greta Van Fleet, and Troye Sivan, just to name a few.

I have a feeling we’re going to be seeing a lot more Row Bootcamps on the Top 5 this year! Bring it on!

2. Favorite Peloton Ride

12/17/23 30 min 80s Pop Ride with Ally Love

Listener Greta Kenner has us feeling all the feels with her favorite Ride of the week! She shared:

“My pick of the week is Ally’s 30 minute 80’s pop ride from 12/17/2023. The playlist was packed with hits from the ladies who rocked the 80’s. The music and the energy in the class pushed you to the top of the hills with confidence. Her emotional shout out was moving and inspiring. What a way to start a Monday!”

Ally includes two baby hills in the first half of this class–they’re super cute compared to the monster 8-minute hill she’ll have you climb to finish the class! The work may be tough, but Ally keeps the class moving forward and having fun. Her playlist includes 80s pop queens Dolly Parton, Tina Turner, Gloria Estefan, Madona, and Whitney Houston, and the energy in the studio is inspiring!

3. Favorite Peloton Arms & Light Weights

1/10/24 10 min Arms & Light Weights with Kirsten Ferguson

Listener Holly Brimm knows how much we all love our 10-minute strength add-ons. She added this one to her run and loved it so much it became her favorite class of the week! She shared:

“Honestly this one after a run! It might have been 10 minutes and light weights but she didn’t waste a second of it and made sure those weights made you work!!”

Normally I’d summarize the workout for you here so you know what you’re getting into. Well, for this 10-minute class, Kirsten managed to work in 21 exercises. That’s about 2 moves per minute! You’ll do nonstop raises, kickbacks, curls, presses, and punches, and chances are you’ll be feeling them for days afterwards. Add this to your stack for an absolute upper body burner!

4. Favorite Peloton Artist Series Ride

1/18/24 30 min Earth, Wind & Fire Ride with Leanne Hainsby

This class is stirring up quite the buzz. Several listeners gave it a shoutout as the most fun and their favorite class of the week, if not longer!

Marilyn Larned Soraghan (marasog) said, “Leanne’s Earth, Wind & Fire ride from 1/18/24–so fun and I knew all the songs to sing along to!”

The setlist for the class includes Let’s Groove, Shining Star, Got to Get You Into My Life, September, and so many more. Leanne shined in a fire-inspired outfit and enough sparkly energy to cross the Atlantic. Take this class next time you need a little mood-boost!

 5. Favorite Peloton Unstackable Run

9/10/23 60 min Pop Run with Jeffrey McEachern

Sometimes we want a class that leaves us in a puddle and washes all hope of a stack of extra classes away with it. We call those classes Unstackable, and we love hearing about our listeners’ Unstackable experiences.

For this week’s Unstackable recommendation, we heard from Teresa Miller: “My class hits both. The class and the playlist was awesome. It didn’t feel like 60 minutes! I wouldn’t stack it – I’m still getting used to running for 60 minutes – but I’ll definitely bookmark it to take again.”

This is Jeffrey’s third appearance on the TCO Top 5, and his first Unstackable recommendation. If you’re intimidated by 60 minutes, then let me distract you with his oh-so-fun music selection: Madona, RuPaul, *NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Beyoncé, Fergie, Janet Jackson. What’s not to love?! An hour will surely fly by with tunes like these.

If you decide to brave this class for your next long run, let us know how it goes!

Thank you!
