The Sam Yo Book Tour: Peloton Community Gets to Help Pick the Cities

The US Sam Yo book tour is in the works ahead of the May 19, 2026, release of The Monk’s Mindset: Finding Stillness in a World That Won’t Stop Moving, and Sam wants the community’s help picking the cities. In a recent Instagram reel, Sam invited followers to suggest US destinations they would want him to visit, with well-represented suggestions earning a spot on the itinerary. For Peloton members, the tour carries an extra question that goes beyond bookshelves: if he makes it to New York, could it mean a live class at Peloton Studios New York?

The Book Behind the Sam Yo Book Tour

Sam’s debut book, The Monk’s Mindset, is scheduled for release on May 19, 2026, through Blackstone Publishing and is available for preorder now on Amazon. The 350-page book is described as a first-of-its-kind approach to mindfulness and fitness, drawing on the arcs of Sam’s own life: West End stage actor, a ten-month stay in a Thai monastery studying to become a Buddhist monk, and more than six years as one of Peloton’s most meditative instructors. The Clip Out covered Sam’s original announcement that he was writing the book, and it has been one of the more anticipated Peloton instructor projects in recent memory.

Members Are Already Suggesting Cities

The Sam Yo book tour is still in the planning phase, and Sam is leaning into his community to shape the route. Among the top city suggestions from followers are Denver, Chicago, Dallas, Austin, and Boston, though no specific stops have been confirmed and no official tour dates have been announced.

The PSNY Question the Sam Yo Book Tour Has Members Asking

The tour announcement landed with one extra layer of intrigue for members paying attention. Sam Yo is a London-based instructor who joined Peloton in 2019 and has built his teaching career primarily through Peloton Studios London and virtual content. He has not, to date, taught a live class at Peloton Studios New York. A New York stop on the book tour would set up a natural question: would Peloton bring Sam into PSNY for a class while he is in the city? The Clip Out has followed Sam’s career across multiple chapters, including his return to the stage in The King and I. A US tour would represent a different kind of stateside moment for an instructor whose domestic Peloton presence has been entirely virtual.

How to Weigh In Before the Itinerary Is Set

If you want a say in which cities make the cut, head to Sam’s Instagram (@yoiamsamyo) and drop your suggestion in the comments on his recent reel. Pre-orders for The Monk’s Mindset are available now through Amazon and Blackstone Publishing. The Clip Out will have more as tour stops are confirmed ahead of the May 19 release date.
