Peloton Drops New Benchmark Strength Classes
Ever wondered just how strong you really are? Now, you don’t have to guess. Peloton’s is adding five new Benchmark strength classes that are designed to give you an accurate gauge of your current fitness level. Designed for every strength training user, these classes offer a great way to assess your current fitness level and to track your progress and set new personal records.
Why Benchmark Strength Classes?
You might be asking, “Why should I care about benchmark classes?” The answer is simple! These classes give you:
- An Accurate Measure of Your Fitness: Understand exactly where you stand in your strength training journey.
- Progress Tracking: Repeat these classes every six weeks or so to see how much you’ve improved over time.
- Motivation: Nothing feels as good as beating your own records and seeing tangible results.
Types of Benchmark Strength Classes
Peloton offers five specific benchmark strength classes, each targeting different muscle groups and fitness goals. All of Peloton’s Benchmark Strength classes are located in the strength class library. Let’s break them down:
1. Full Body Strength
Want to work every muscle in one go? Full Body Strength classes are your perfect match. These sessions engage all major muscle groups, giving you a comprehensive workout that leaves no stone unturned. Jermaine Johnson delivers the new full-body strength benchmark class.
2. Bodyweight Strength
No equipment? No problem! Bodyweight Strength classes focus on using your body weight as resistance. Perfect for those who want to get strong without needing any fancy gear. Logan Aldridge leads the way with the new bodyweight strength benchmark class.
3. Core Strength
Strong core, strong body. Core Strength classes zero in on your abs and lower back, enhancing stability and performance in all your other workouts. Robin Arzon brings us the new core strength benchmark class.
4. Upper Body Strength
Buff up those biceps and sculpt those shoulders. Upper Body Strength classes are tailored to build muscle in your arms, chest, and back. Tunde Oyeneyin and her huge biceps crush the upper-body benchmark class.
5. Lower Body Strength
Never skip leg day again. Lower Body Strength classes target your glutes, quads, hamstrings, and calves, helping you build power and endurance in your lower body. Andy Speer serves up the new lower-body benchmark class. Speaking of Andy, if you haven’t taken his new Density Training 2 collection, what are you waiting for?
