New Peloton ChatGPT Integration is Live

Last Updated: October 31, 2025By Tags: ,

The new Peloton ChatGPT integration has officially arrived—signaling another step forward in their AI-powered fitness plans. In a LinkedIn post, Peloton CTO Francis Shanahan announced that the Peloton app is now available directly within ChatGPT, giving users the ability to build customized workout plans and discover classes simply through conversation. It’s a development that could reshape how members explore Peloton’s vast library, offering a faster, more intuitive way to personalize their fitness experience.

Let’s be very clear: this isn’t about AI taking over your Bike, Tread, Row, or App. The Peloton integration lives inside ChatGPT, acting as a digital assistant to help you navigate Peloton’s content more efficiently. You can ask it to create workout stacks, locate specific types of classes, or build weekly training schedules based on your goals. For anyone who’s ever spent too long scrolling for the perfect class, this could be a serious time-saver.

That said, the integration also raises some key questions—particularly around access, privacy, and personalization. Here’s what we know so far.

How the Peloton ChatGPT Integration Works

Getting started is simple—but, again, this experience happens entirely within ChatGPT, not on Peloton’s hardware. Users connect their Peloton account to ChatGPT to enable a seamless search and planning experience.  This works on the ChatGPT computer interface as well as the ChatGPT app.

To use the feature, start a message with the app name. For example, you might type:

“Peloton, make me a 30-minute recovery stack for tomorrow.”

Peloton ChatGPT Integration. Peloton, make a 30 minute recovery stack for tomorrow. Here’s a great 30-minute Peloton recovery stack you can do tomorrow — balanced to loosen, refresh, and restore: 🧘‍♀️ 30-Minute Recovery Stack 1. 10 min Recovery Ride – Matt Wilpers or Christine D’Ercole Keep it light and steady to flush out muscle soreness and improve circulation. 2. 10 min Full Body Stretch – Hannah Corbin Focuses on hips, hamstrings, shoulders, and spine — the perfect complement post-ride. 3. 10 min Restorative Yoga – Kristin McGee Gentle holds and deep breathing to reset both mind and body. Would you like me to make it searchable and ready to add to your Peloton calendar (with specific class links and instructors)? I can pull live class data for that.

ChatGPT will recognize the command, surface the Peloton app, and guide you through creating your request. The first time you use it, you’ll be prompted to connect your Peloton account and review what data may be shared.

From there, you can make detailed, natural requests like:

  • “Peloton, find me a 20-minute 90s rock ride with Olivia rated at least 8.0.”

  • “Peloton, build a 3-day workout plan: upper body, lower body, and full body.”

  • “Peloton, I have 45 minutes—give me a warm-up ride, a HIIT ride, and a cool-down.”

ChatGPT then searches Peloton’s class database to return tailored stacks and suggestions based on your criteria.

Aside from helping with class suggestions, its also possible to turn years of workouts into real, personalized insights. Imagine asking, “Peloton, how has my average output changed over the past six months?” or “Based on my last ten rides, what should I do this week to build endurance?” Instead of scrolling through endless stats, you could get a clear, conversational summary of your progress and smart suggestions for what to do next. Additionally, you could use your workout data to spot plateaus and fine-tune their training plan– no spreadsheets or graphs required.

Note: free ChatGPT users will still run up against the usage limits, even when using the Peloton integration.

What We Don’t Yet Know

As promising as this integration is, there are still some unknowns.

How much of your Peloton data can ChatGPT actually see? Will it recognize your FTP or Power Zone data? Will it avoid recommending classes you’ve already taken? The depth of that data connection will determine whether this becomes a true personal training assistant—or just a smarter class search tool. As ChatGPT learns your Peloton habits, it makes sense that all of these things will become integrated into your personalized suggestions.

How AI Is Changing the Workout Experience

This launch represents a major step for Peloton into the evolving landscape of conversational AI. By partnering with OpenAI, Peloton is experimenting with new ways to help members engage with the platform and get more value from their memberships.

As more users test the integration, we’ll get a clearer picture of its capabilities—and its potential to change how we plan, stack, and experience Peloton workouts. For now, the integration won’t change your next ride—but it might just change how you find it. And if AI can save you ten minutes of scrolling, that’s a win worth pedaling toward.
