Get The Party Started: P!nk Comes To Peloton!
So What?
So what? Our fearless leader Crystal would have stopped the presses for this one, if we had actual presses. Peloton’s dropped the schedule for its Artist Series featuring the music of P!nk, the rocker with the incredible voice and moves to spare. She’s a songwriter, a collaborator, a dancer and a daredevil, a mother, and an award-winning superstar- and we’re thrilled to hear her voice coming from Peloton Studios. (And if we were thrilled, I bet you’d be able to hear superfan Christine D’Ercole shouting from miles around.)
Crystal tells us, “Pink is all about being unique and a badass, and not being what society “expects” women to be. She’s not your traditional “skinny” woman. She is strong and fit and incredibly talented. Her songs speak to me. I always feel “seen” by P!nk. Not to mention – even if you don’t like her music, her live shows are legendary. You WILL be entertained!” We wish a Peloton class was a P!nk live show… but no doubt we’ll be entertained, and sweaty!
Raise Your Glass!
Originally known as Alecia Beth Moore, Pink began her musical journey in her teenage years as a part of the girl group Choice. After the group disbanded, she embarked on a solo career and released her debut album, Can’t Take Me Home, in 2000. From there, Pink quickly became a household name, with hits like “Get the Party Started,” “Just Like a Pill,” and “So What.” Her music is known for its raw, emotional lyrics that often reflect her personal struggles and experiences. In addition to her music career, Pink has also dabbled in acting, with notable appearances in films like Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle and Thanks for Sharing. She is also a dedicated philanthropist, using her platform to support various charities and causes, including LGBTQ+ rights, animal welfare, and mental health awareness, and has also earned numerous accolades, including three Grammy Awards, six MTV Video Music Awards, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Don’t Let Me Get Me
So, what can we expect from the P!nk series? A LOT of classes! Yay!
Beautiful Trauma
Seeing a P!nk artist series made us realize how many more artists are out there that we haven’t seen yet- and seeing Crystal jump with joy at hearing that Susie Chan’s teaching a P!nk class made us wonder- what would we love to see next? What’s our dream artist series/instructor combination? Through some extensive and in-depth research (or just throwing it out there in a Facebook post), I got the following opinions:
