Alexandra Mack Joins Tonal Coach Roster as Tony Horton Makes a Return
Alexandra Mack has joined the Tonal coaching roster, and it is news the Peloton community may find interesting. Tonal has announced a new round of coaching additions alongside the return of fitness legend Tony Horton, and Mack will be immediately familiar to anyone who follows Peloton instructor Adrian Williams on social media.
An RRCA-certified run coach and NASM-certified personal trainer with nine marathons and six half marathons on her resume, she joins the platform alongside two other new coaches, Kenny Ferrer and Margaret Valenzuel and will become the new teammate of former Peloton Instructor and current Tonal Guest Instructor Kristin McGee.
Who Is Alexandra Mack?
Alexandra Mack, a personal trainer and distance running coach based in New York, brings an athletic edge to her coaching philosophy. Beyond her connection to the Peloton world through her relationship with Adrian Williams, she has built a well-established independent coaching identity focused on running and functional strength. Her nine marathons and six half marathons ground her approach in serious personal experience at the distances she teaches.

Her perspective on the relationship between strength training and running performance is particularly valuable: Alexandra Mack has spoken directly about how strength work serves as the foundation for injury prevention and athletic longevity, helping runners stay strong and confident from training through race day.
The Peloton Connection
For Peloton members who follow Adrian Williams, Mack has been a familiar face on his social channels for some time. Her arrival at Tonal now puts two members of the same household on two of the most prominent home fitness platforms simultaneously: Adrian as a Peloton cycling and strength instructor, and Alexandra Mack as a Tonal running and strength coach. Many Peloton members are also Tonal members, and when these two worlds intersect, it is news worth paying attention to.
Meet the Other New Tonal Coaches
Mack is joined by two additional coaches new to the Tonal roster. Margaret Valenzuela brings more than ten years of fitness experience and a particular passion for helping women build strength through perimenopause and menopause, focusing on muscle mass and bone density as foundations for long-term health. Kenny Ferrer is a strength and yoga coach and former minor league baseball player who balances intensity with a deep emphasis on breath, recovery, and mind-body connection. All three new coaches join Tonal’s Live schedule beginning May 4, with on-demand workouts launching in April.
Tony Horton Makes a Return
Alongside the Alexandra Mack announcement, Tonal confirmed that Tony Horton is returning to the platform with a brand new program. Horton, the creator of P90X and one of the most recognized names in home fitness, previously partnered with Tonal in a move we covered when it first happened. His new program, “20-in-20: Reignite,” launches April 3 and serves as a sequel to his popular “20-in-20: Ignite.”

The program is built around fast, focused workouts targeting specific muscle groups with an emphasis on hypertrophy through maximum volume and time under tension, all in approximately 20 minutes. The program builds in intensity over four weeks. Horton has also confirmed additional programs coming later in 2026, including one designed specifically for members 50 and older.
The Peloton Community Connection
Tonal and Peloton are not competing for the same member in the way they once were. A large portion of the Peloton audience owns or regularly uses Tonal, and The Clip Out has always covered both platforms when their stories intersect. The addition of Alexandra Mack on the Tonal roster is a natural intersection of both worlds, but it is worth noting that her credentials stand entirely on their own. The Peloton connection is context. The coaching background is the story.
