Fun 2-for-1 Row with Ash Pryor and Alex Karwoski Is on the Way
Get Ready for a 2-for-1 Row with Ash Pryor and Alex Karwoski
A 2-for-1 Row with Ash Pryor and Alex Karwoski is officially on the schedule, and the Row community has something to look forward to. We spotted the class listed on the Peloton studio schedule for Thursday, March 12 at 2:30 pm at Peloton Studios New York. The listing shows it as a 30-minute pre-record, and the in-studio session is already marked as full. No on-demand release date has been confirmed, but pre-recorded classes typically surface in the app within days or weeks of filming.

What the 2-for-1 Row with Ash Pryor and Alex Karwoski Could Be
The listing gives us the format and the instructors, but not much else. It is worth noting that March 12 falls during a stretch of the calendar that Peloton sometimes uses for themed programming tied to seasons, awareness months, or milestone events… maybe we’ll see a late March Women’s History Month class or perhaps it’s part of new Row programming.
Whether this class is a standalone 2-for-1, part of a broader rowing program, or connected to a specific theme has not been announced. Given that Alex and Ash have co-taught structured programming together before, it would not be a surprise if this turns out to be the first class in something bigger rather than a one-off. That said, we do not know that yet, but we will let you know when we do!
A Format Peloton Has Used in Rowing Before
The Peloton 2-for-1 Row format is relatively uncommon compared to other modalities, which makes this one worth flagging on its own. The Form Fixer series, led by Alex, already puts two instructors on camera at once for real-time technique feedback during a full-effort workout. These classes debuted in 2025. Alex and Ash have also appeared together (sort of) in Peloton’s You Can Row the Distance Program, as the core instructors for this two-week training, but they have not appeared side by side yet. A Dream Team: Ash Pryor and Alex Karwoski
What makes this pairing worth your attention is the credentials both instructors bring to the erg. Alex is the only Olympian on the Peloton instructor roster, having competed with the American team that placed fourth at Rio 2016 in the Men’s Eight. He has also continued competing since joining Peloton, placing second at the Head of the Charles Regatta in 2023. For a fuller look at Alex’s competitive background, The Clip Out covered his path to Peloton and his Olympic journey.
Ash came to rowing through a different route, starting out in basketball at Ohio State University before finding the sport and going on to be part of a Big Ten championship. She founded Relentless Rowing Academy, a nonprofit focused on bringing rowing to athletes from marginalized communities, and was a Peloton member herself before becoming an instructor. The Clip Out has covered Ash’s work with Relentless Rowing Academy and what drives her approach to making the sport more accessible.
Together, they are two of the faces of the Peloton row community, and seeing them share a screen in this format is something Row members have had reason to want.
When We Might Expect the Ash Pryor and Alex Karwoski 2-for-1 to be On the Schedule
The pre-record is set for March 12. Keep an eye on the rowing section of the Peloton app in the days and weeks that follow for when this one lands On Demand or more likely, in a Scheduled Premiere.
