This and That: Week of September 28
🎶 Do you remember the 21st night of September? 🎶 We sure do, and we can’t believe it was only last week! We’re heading into a new month with new hot topics in the Pelo-World, and we invite you to join us for a little dive into five of them in this week’s This and That!
Robin Hosts Athlos Event
This past Thursday, September 26, Robin hosted the Athlos event in NY. Billed as a new women’s track event where the fastest women blaze through NYC, Robin took to Instagram to share what a wonderful time she had hosting the event. Featuring not only running but also beats by DJ Nice and a live performance by Megan Thee Stallion, the day appeared to be packed full of energy and pivotal moments for women’s track!
Anna Celebrated 40th Birthday
Anna Greenburg, beloved yoga, meditation, and Pilates instructor, shared her thoughts on turning 40 on her Instagram this week. A beautiful reminder of what really matters in life, Anna reflects on giving time to things that matter most, living in the moment, and keeping in real in admitting that she’s ‘not on top of the world at the moment.’ Her vulnerability is something to be admired, and we wish Anna a big Happy 40th Birthday!
Showroom Closures
Following recent trends with moving the majority of Peloton hardware sales online, The Durham, NC showroom has closed. Additionally, the Sydney Australia showroom has also closed, leaving no options for a physical purchase or showroom experience in Australia. Members (and those looking to become members) in Australia will have to purchase all hardware online.
AFO Class Released Early
It may have been a week early, but who’s counting? This past Monday, September 23 at 1:00pm EST, reports have been made of a 30 minute Post Malone ride with Matt Wilpers premiering on the schedule. Members took the class and enjoyed Matt’s energetic energy and the popular music of Post Malone. The only issue? This exact class is part of the All For One Festival, which did not start until September 26. The class is due to ‘premiere’ on Monday, September 30. For most members, that will be the first time they see it, but for others, consider yourself the lucky few who enjoyed the results of an apparent technology glitch!
Ally Love Takes a Break
Ally Love took to her Instagram to share that she is taking some time off the live schedule due to personal reasons. Ally did not go into anything deeper than that, but we hope Ally is doing well and that the time away gives her the space she needs to work through whatever she needs to. Once thing we know is we will miss her classes and cannot wait to see her live at PSNY whenever she is ready!
