We are excited to share the five most enthusiastic nominations (in no particular order) and a quick review of each class. Read on for our weekly dose of motivation!

This week’s favorite Peloton classes:

  1. Set the Barre Program with Ally Love and Hannah Corbin
  2. 07/31/2024 10 MInute Standing Core Class with Rebecca Kennedy
  3. 08/10/2024 30 Minute 80’s Ride with Denis Morton
  4. 08/01/2024 30 Minute Summer Celebration Walk with Matty Maggiacomo)
  5. 07/28/2024 45 Minute Classic Rock Ride with Ben Alldis

Why you loved them!

Sometimes it’s hard to pick just one favorite (clear by the number of bookmarked classes we have to “take later”), but these reviews make it easy! Here’s what the TCO Community had to say about their favorite classes from the last week.

1. Favorite New Program

Set the Barre Program with Ally Love and Hannah Corbin

This long awaited program dropped on August 4th and annmichelle83 said she is loving this program after finishing week one.  The program consists of three classes a week, focusing on upper body, lower body, and core. The classes vary, with some even using weights and some giving the option of resistance bands.  So far, at least one of the classes includes both Ally and Hannah instructing the class together.  The program runs for four weeks with twelve unique classes and you have to take the classes in order to unlock subsequent classes.  Barre works your  muscles in a different way than other modalities of exercise, so try this one out and let us know what you think!

2. Favorite Strength Class

07/31/2024 10 MInute Standing Core Class with Rebecca Kennedy

Tiffanycortez loved this class. She said “It was unique because Rebecca used a heavy weight instead of medium or light weights like usual and it was all slow and heavy so you could really feel your core working.”  If you are looking for a different way to work your core, or if you just hate getting down on the mat or are looking for a class with no planks, standing core is for you.  Rebecca’s days of complex and dancey moves in her workouts have evolved – her classes are on fire lately, splits, heavy lifting, and easy to follow and effective basic moves!

3. Favorite Ride

08/10/2024 30 Minute 80’s Ride with Denis Morton

Dennis’ rides have been the subject of a lot of discussion lately, and people are loving his music picks and the structure of the classes.  Jenny Kvapil  nominated this class, praising both the music and the workout itself,  saying it “begins and ends with George Michael songs.  Really great playlist if you love 80’s music.  Sneaky workout too. Doesn’t seem that hard and next thing you know, you’re sweating.”   Ed Anderson noted that Denis’ June 4  class also had some great 80’s music – Denis is definitely ”on a roll” these days, both on the bike and with his nostalgic music picks!

4. Favorite Outdoor Walk

08/01/2024 30 Minute Summer Celebration Walk with Matty Maggiacomo

The days are already starting to get shorter, so get out there and take advantage of outdoor walks and runs before fall (and all things  pumpkin spice) are here.  Don Rudee  did just that and nominated this walk as his favorite class of the week.  He said it had “perfect music and Matty’s commentary is always fun!  Perfect for a walk with my dog.”  Celebrate summer and getting your steps in with no equipment necessary!

5. Favorite Unstackable Ride

Sometimes we want a class that leaves us in a puddle and washes all hope of a stack of extra classes away with it. We call those classes Unstackable, and we love hearing about our listeners’ Unstackable experiences.

07/28/2024 45 Minute Classic Rock Ride with Ben Alldis

David  Stember (#Psychodoc) suggested this class.  We often have power zone rides as our unstackable classes, but this is just a regular old 45 minute ride  – oh except unstackable!  David said “Holy Cow, please welcome London’s second “Big Ben.”  What the hell just happened?  Multiple intervals at 80 resistance?  Is Ben working through something?  Great ride, great music, but unstackable.  Please tell my wife it’s Ben Alldis’ fault that I won’t be able to cut the lawn, or do any house chores.”   We’ve got your back on that one, David – no stacking of other workouts or  household duties after this ride!   This class has some very familiar classic rock songs to sing along with too, if you have any breath left!

Thank you!
