Why you loved them!
Sometimes it’s hard to pick just one favorite (clear by the number of bookmarked classes we have to “take later”), but these reviews make it easy! Here’s what the TCO Community had to say about their favorite classes from the last week.
1. Favorite Walk
06/22/24 Camp Walk with Matty Maggiacomo
Nancy Nilsen said that her favorite ride “without a doubt is Matty’s 30-minute Camp Walk from June 22. Mara is back in fabulous form with a custom Brittany Allen outfit. The walk just puts a smile on your face. We are so lucky to have the return of Mara in her classic form I just have to add that Matty is truly a treasure and blessing to the Peloton community.” Priya Banerjee agreed, saying “I have no idea how he does it! With all that makeup and costume, brilliant.” If you don’t know about this Mom of twin teenage boys from New Jersey who kindly filled in for Matty for this walk (Matty was purportedly stuck in line at Trader Joe’s), you’re missing out! (Make sure to check out Mara’s wig, which was giving us some strong Queen Charlotte from Bridgerton vibes….)
2. Favorite Peloton Power Zone Disguised as a Non-Power-Zone Ride
06/01/24 45 Minute Pro Cycling: Speed Training With Christian Vande Velde
The Clip Out Community just can’t get enough of Christian Vande Velde! This is a first for The Clip Out – this was our unstackable ride from last week and was nominated again this week, and we just have to agree that this is a great ride – don’t overlook it! Carrie McGilvery Logan picked this class, saying “This class is awesome! It was not labeled as a power zone class, specifically, but it is basically one. It is all zones two and three work with super high cadences (and two zone 6 30-second sprints). I didn’t realize that I could sustain an average cadence of 99 for 45 minutes! Christian is great. It was my first ride with him.” Kelly Quirk-Ceperley seconded this ride as her favorite, saying “I sustained a 93 average cadence the entire ride and had no idea I’d be able to do that.”
The universe is clearly calling out to everyone to take this ride!
3. Favorite Peloton Ride
06/17/2024 Pop Punk Ride with Kendall Toole
This class was recommended by Rich Glass, and we are guessing many others from the Peloton community took and loved this ride as Kendall’s fans are trying to ride with her as much as they can before she departs from Peloton to pursue other adventures. Rich said this was “one of her best and that is saying a lot. Great tunes with the usual great class structure. To see her choking up as she was talking about leaving really humanized her as well. Just a great class.” The music in this class had all the punk hits, with songs from Green Day, the All-American Rejects, and Panic! At The Disco. It’s a must-take for any punk or Kendall fan.
4. Favorite Peloton Ride
06/21/24 Classic Rock Ride with Emma Lovewell
Everyone was hopping on the bike this week! Lisa Jan’s favorite class this week was Emma’s Classic Rock Ride. Lisa said “[g]reat playlist and Emma is glowing!’ This ride would make anyone glow, with Emma’s calming but upbeat style combined with classic rock songs including hits by The Rolling Stones, Alice Cooper, and Crosby, Stills & Nash, among others.
5. Favorite Unstackable Run
06/14/24 Live DJ Run with Adrian Williams
Sarah Grace asked: “Have we clocked DJJM’s Cher remix premiere in Adrian’s 30-minute Live DJ from June 14th? He didn’t exclusively say it was the premiere of the track but the way he introduced it and was gushing with excitement as it played I think it was Adrian’s live DJ classes are always a can’t-miss for me. I’ve been taking live DJ classes since 2017 and DJJM’s chemistry with Adrian combined with the way they interact with the in-studio runners makes them my favorite duo. They always have me laughing out loud and this class was no exception. Whether you’re following the instructions or just doing your own thing, you’ll find yourself smiling through the sweat. I’m 4 months postpartum and PR’ed my 30-minute run output from pre-pregnancy!” Sounds like a challenging run with a great afterglow!
Thank you!
