TCO Weekly Top 5 Favorite Peloton Classes and Rides

TCO Top 5 Favorite Peloton classes: Stay motivated with this week’s picks (6/19/2024)

Every Monday, we ask the Clip Out community to share their favorite class from the last week. Your stories of love, sweat, and tears always inspire us to keep moving. We are excited to share the five most enthusiastic nominations (in no particular order) and a quick review of each class. Read on for our weekly dose of motivation!

This week’s favorite Peloton classes:

  1. 1. 06/17/24 Pump Up The Beat (Pride) Yoga Flow with Chelsea Jackson Roberts
  2. 06/06/24 Sweat Steady Low Impact Ride With Jess King
  3.   06/13/2024 Pop Walk   with Jon Hosking
  4.   06/05/2024 Strength for Runners with Becs Gentry
  5.   06/16/2024 75 minute Power Zone Endurance Ride with Christine D’Ercole

Why you loved them!

Sometimes it’s hard to pick just one favorite (clear by the number of bookmarked classes we have to “take later”), but these reviews make it easy! Here’s what the TCO Community had to say about their favorite classes from the last week.

  1. Favorite Yoga Class

06/17/24 Pump Up The Beat (Pride) Yoga Flow  with Chelsea Jackson Roberts

Greg Cochran chose this class, calling it “spectacular!”  He said Chelsea’s “energy, the poses, the flow, the intentionality, and the constant celebratory theme of pride was amazing.  This was not an easy class, but her instruction provided modifications to make everyone feel welcome and a part of the class.  One of my top 3 of all time!”  There’s no better way to honor pride month than with a meditative workout, celebrating with others in the  Peloton community.

  1. Favorite Peloton Ride

06/06/24 Sweat Steady Low Impact Ride With Jess King

Danette Royal Giles (#bettrnettr) picked this ride, saying “[t]he playlist was perfection and the efforts really allowed me to be focused and build endurance on the leaderboard.”   This class had songs by Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Dua Lipa, Ry X and Duke Dumont, and Odesza – and we all know that “low impact” does not mean “low energy”, especially with Jess leading the class!

  1. Favorite Peloton Walk

06/13/2024 Pop Walk   with Jon Hosking

Jon’s last class before this walk was on May 4, 2024.  Melisa Giles-Hanwacker chose this class, saying “it was nice to see [Jon] back!”   Jon planned on running the London marathon on April 21st, but on April 4th he announced that he was pulling out of running the race due to an ankle injury, and he subsequently wore a medical boot to help his ankle heal.  This was a great walk for Jon to get back in the groove of teaching, with a playlist that kept us moving, including songs by Fallout Boy, P!NK, and Katy Perry.  Welcome back, Jon – we missed your energy and we’re so glad you’re on the mend!

  1. Favorite Peloton Strength Class

06/05/2024 Strength for Runners with Becs Gentry

Daxten (#AZonion) chose this class, saying “the format was simple yet effective.”   The class started with a fabulous stretch, including a few yoga moves that Becs said were inspired by none other than Dennis Morton. Becs used familiar moves throughout the workout  that included toning and balancing, focusing on the muscles that runners use most, with both medium and heavy weights.  Becs’ instruction was easy to follow and she said she does this exact workout once a week to improve her running!

  1. Favorite Unstackable Ride

Sometimes we want a class that leaves us in a puddle and washes all hope of a stack of extra classes away with it. We call those classes Unstackable, and we love hearing about our listeners’ Unstackable experiences.

06/16/2024 75 minute Power Zone Endurance Ride with Christine D’Ercole

Karen Allen Ready (#LBIGirl) took this ride in the studio (yay, Karen!!) and said “it was TOUGH!  My legs are still feeling it today!”  75 minutes with Christine, the queen of hills, is no joke for sure!  The class has an 11 minute warmup (and if you know Christine, the warmup isn’t usually a flat, gentle road) followed by 63 minutes of hard work.  Of course, the playlist has great classics (REM, The Eurythmics, and even The Beatles) and ends with a collaboration between Taylor Swift and Florence + The Machine.  75 minutes of work in this class results in an amazing  feeling  of accomplishment!
