Why you loved them!
Sometimes it’s hard to pick just one favorite (clear by the number of bookmarked classes we have to “take later”), but these reviews make it easy! Here’s what the TCO Community had to say about their favorite classes from the last week.
1. Favorite Run
03/14/2025 Club Bangers Run withAlex Toussaint (and Lil Jon!!)
So many Peloton community members loved this ride, which was just pure fun! Courtenay Cassel Brinckerhoff described it this way: “Of course the playlist was lit, but also Lil Jon really got into “coaching” – encouraging and counting down intervals. It was fun to see him having so much fun.” Mindy Jensen also loved this ride, saying “the energy was off the charts – I wish all rides/runs were like this! Denis dancing was an unexpected highlight”. Melissa Giles-Hanwacker, Tanya Sinclair Tulan and Diana Volk agreed, and Diana pointed out that an added bonus is that Alex always gives you walking breaks! Jenny Kvapil said that this was “about as much fun as you can have while running.” Jenny loved “the energy and the camera angles.” Walk it, run it, or just watch it while you do a little stretching – it won’t disappoint!
2. Favorite Strength Workout
11/09/2024 20 Minute Arms and Shoulders Strength with Selena Samuela
This workout was nominated by Melissa Solin, who loved the unique format of the class. The class was “mostly unilateral work and you only need one moderate to heavy dumbbell.” As Melissa pointed out, this is a great class if you are traveling and/or have limited equipment. Don’t let one dumbbell fool you though – you still get a great workout, and unilateral work means you’re also perfecting your balance along with your strength. Hint: this class leaves your biceps screaming!
3. Favorite Extra Steps Class
03/15/2025 20 Minute Extra Steps Walk – 2500 Steps with Joslyn Thompson Rule
Jen Kern (#Reasons2Wine) suggested this class – one of the new class formats that help you hit that step goal! Jen said she liked the pace of this class with the music to get her steps in for the day – Jen said “[i]t was 125bpm to reach 2500 steps. It was like walking with a friend.” For all of the type A’s out there, it’s nice to know ahead of time how many steps you’ll add to your daily goal when you take a class!
4. Favorite Yoga Class
06/26/2024 20 Minute Kacey Musgraves Restorative with Anna Greenberg
This class is not your average restorative class – it was so fabulous that I felt the need to recommend it as one of our Top 5 this week! Restorative Yoga classes are great for letting your body let out the bad and take in the good, and Kacey Musgraves’ music was absolutely perfect to help with that process! Anna’s coaching perfectly matched the themes of Kacey’s thought provoking yet uplifting songs, while the various poses forced my body to let out a long, productive sigh. This is a great class to start your day or end your night with.
5. Favorite Unstackable Power Zone Ride
Sometimes we want a class that leaves us in a puddle and washes all hope of a stack of extra classes away with it. We call those classes Unstackable, and we love hearing about our listeners’ Unstackable experiences.
02/01/2025 60 Minute Power Zone Ride with Matt Wilpers
Karen Smith took this ride and loved it but also found it to be sneaky challenging! Karen said this ride was “awesome! Once the warmup was done it was a zone 2 class all the way through BUT with cadence intervals. Every song had a beat of at least 85 so the legs were flying and the sweat was pouring. Great class!” The playlist in this ride really is fire – a great compilation of some of the best pop music!
Thank you!
