TCO Top 5 Favorite Peloton classes: Stay motivated with this week’s picks (01/28/2025)
Every Monday, we ask the Clip Out community to share their favorite class from the last week. Your stories of love, sweat, and tears always inspire us to keep moving. We are excited to share the five most enthusiastic nominations (in no particular order) and a quick review of each class. Read on for our weekly dose of motivation!
This week’s favorite Peloton classes:
1. 01/23/2025 30 Minute Tate McRae Run with Olivia Amato
2. 01/07/2025 20 Minute Arms & Shoulders Strength with Rebecca Kennedy
3. 12/01/2024 15 Minute HIIT Ride with Sam Yo
4. 01/23/2025 75 Minute Walk+Run with Mariana Fernandez
5. Day 1 of the Three Day Intermediate Split with Jess Sims
Why you loved them!
Sometimes it’s hard to pick just one favorite (clear by the number of bookmarked classes we have to “take later”), but these reviews make it easy! Here’s what the TCO Community had to say about their favorite classes from the last week.
1. Favorite Music Themed Run
01/23/2025 30 Minute Tate McRae Run with Olivia Amato
#Oliver_Long recommended this class, saying ‘It’s so good when an instructor is clearly passionate about the artist and brings that energy to class. A great playlist with variable length intervals made this class fly by. I’d never heard much of Tate MeRae’s music before but it sent this middle aged British guy down a Spotify rabbit hole of youthful dating angst and drama.” We’re sorry you had to relive that part of your youth, but we love that the artist series classes can help us discover new favorites!
2. Favorite Strength Class
01/07/2025 20 Minute Arms & Shoulders Strength with Rebecca Kennedy
Reecca’s strength classes are back on the board this week with this recommendation from #what_kel_reads, who said “[t]he playlist and energy were great and the class was difficult and super effective without being overwhelming. Thai is definitely a class I plan on repeating!” Rebecca’s classes are so fun but also so effective – they have a definite strong presence on our Top 5 most every week!
3. Favorite Ride
12/01/2024 15 Minute HIIT Ride with Sam Yo
Becky Kithcart Gomez recommended this class, and it really does sound like a great way to get a quick workout in while enjoying some amazing show tunes! Becky said this ride “has an all musical theater playlist, including Greatest Showman, Dear Evan Hansen, and Wicked. It’s a fun way to get a HIIT workout in. I rarely repeat rides and I’ve done this ride three times already.”
4. Favorite Walk+Run
01/23/2025 75 Minute Walk+Run with Mariana Fernandez
Two people recommended this walk/run this week. Julie Brewer said that this class “was amazing and everything I needed! It checked the physical, mental, and emotional exercise boxes! Don’t skip this one!” Cindy Ingham agreed, saying she plans on taking it “several times”, and Julie said that she likely will too. If they can take it a few times, you can try it once – you’ll love the playlist and Mariana’s inspiring coaching. This is one of only two 75 minute walk+run classes on the Peloton platform.
5. Favorite Unstackable Strength Class
Sometimes we want a class that leaves us in a puddle and washes all hope of a stack of extra classes away with it. We call those classes Unstackable, and we love hearing about our listeners’ Unstackable experiences.
Day 1 of the Three Day Intermediate Split with Jess Sims
We picked this for our unstackable this week after Karen Smith nominated this upper body push class and her first words about it were “Holy Cow.” Karen said “of course Jess would do a split that’s all 45 minute classes. She coaches to progressive loading but also has increasing rest periods.” Karen pointed out that this class had no cardio, only heavy lifting to get to muscle fatigue, and that she will definitely be repeating this “excellent program.” Remember, split classes are found only under programs and include a week’s worth of classes, meant to be taken for at least 4, and up to 12, weeks, resulting in measurable strength gains.
