Stay Fresh on the Go: 5 Helpful Peloton Instructor Hacks

Trying to Stay Fresh on the Go? Here’s How!

Staying fresh on the go can keep us on our toes, can’t it? Whether you’re enjoying cocktails or keeping it alcohol-free, the hustle of being socially present can take its toll. The morning seems to arrive too quickly to hit pause and recover, making it feel like a challenge. But what happens when slowing down isn’t an option?

All in a Days work and a Good Playlist

Hats off to our powerhouse instructors who don’t ever really seem to look like they miss a beat the next day…maybe the beat is quite literally all they need from such amazing playlist skills.

So… what are some tips and tricks to giving us a little nudge into feeling human the next day?

Eye-Eye

Callie Gullickson at this point should be sponsored by the people who make cooling under-eye patches ….but she is not alone we have also seen Jeffrey Mc Eachern rocking them! That’s right these little go-to brightening face aids are probably the no1 morning accessory for the instructors with busy schedules. Pop them on and get cracking on your commute…they are that accessible!  These under-eye patches are a game-changer when you’re trying to stay fresh on the go, commuting or just catching up on rest.

Bring the Sauna to You!

If you’re serious about self-care and want to stay fresh on the go, at-home sauna blankets like Higher Dose can be a game-changer. Over the past couple of years, Higher Dose has refined their offerings, now providing two types of sauna blankets along with other impressive wellness tech devices. One standout is their PEMF mat, designed to help ground the body to the earth’s natural electronic frequency. These innovative tools bring relaxation and recovery into your daily routine with ease.

Just a little tip… Black Friday is worth the wait for wellness tech. Shh!

Gotta Catch the Train!

Ok, but what if you are still on the go! go! go! train and out the door…get some recovery liquids!

Make Mine Matcha!

Ally Love with a matcha drink to stay fresh on the go

Ally Love is all about the “hydration station,” often rocking superfood matcha in hand most days. The reason this powerful drink is so magical is its abundance of antioxidants. Grades matter! If you’re bright-eyed and new to matcha, you’ve probably noticed that the price varies wildly depending on where you shop. To stay fresh on the go, you’ll want to pick ceremonial grade for the most powerful kick and steer clear of culinary grade. An easy way to tell? Check the color—look for vibrant, grassy greens and avoid dull, gray powders. A shot of ceremonial grade matcha tea might be small in portion, but it’ll make a big difference to your day. If all you can grab is a matcha latte, go for it, but remember its kick will mainly come from the sugar content. At the end of the day, whatever keeps you smiling and motivated is what truly matters.

Hot Drink, Hot Tip!

Okay, so if you’re visiting PSL, there’s a hidden matcha café upstairs in UNIQLO called Katsu100, just steps from the studio. You can even give your phone a cheeky charge to make sure you’ve got enough battery for class and meet-and-greets afterward.

My favourite brand to keep at home is matchaologist which can easily be shaken up in a flask and consumed on a commute.

Hot day, cold drinks…..hit the electrolytes to stay fresh on the go!

Yep, that’s right—buy them as fizzy tablets to pop in water and dissolve, or grab a bottle of coconut water. These things kick ass! Kirsten Ferguson is all about the DripDrop brand… so much so that she became the face of it this year. Who’s spotted the giant billboards of her looking like Wonder Woman? You go, gurl!

Some tablets on the market come with bonus vitamins and caffeine so take a little deep dive and find out what flavours suit you. They are always good for in the cupboard for slow mornings and while working out.

Ah yes, coconut water… the pink kind, right? You’re going to want to grab this color over the clear, and make sure it’s from the refrigerator section of a supermarket. This is the most rewarding form of coconut water, straight from the green baby fruit. It’s also insanely, deliciously refreshing and will definitely wake you up!

Bonus Drink Recipe!

Robín Arzón has hopped on socials in the past with a recipe for how she likes to hydrate. The ingredients? A squeezed lemon, apple cider vinegar (I like to use the dark kind), and a pinch of sea salt. Top it up with water, and boom—hydration levels up and allllllso a winner for gut health magic!

Make Smart Fuel Choices to Stay Fresh on the Go

You’ve got to be kind to yourself the next day after a party and grab whatever fits your needs—we’re only human, after all. Matt Wilpers might reach for a banana, while Susie Chan goes for a warm pastry. An oat bar for on-the-go? Always a winner in my book.

Stay Fresh on the Go with Disco Naps

You can never have enough discos in 24 hours… because there are also the short napping kind. I like to take a little one along with a meditation on the Peloton app for 10 minutes a day. I also weave in an evening session to listen to my favorite podcast show, “The Clip Out,” just before bed to take myself away from screen time under an LED light (I use Dermaflex, but many others are available). If you’re on the move, then closing your eyes on the tube or a park bench are equally calm nuggets of joy and make a real difference to lift energy levels.

Quick & Easy Hacks to Stay Fresh on the Go

These are just a handful of on-the-go, feel-fresh tips to inspire. What are some of your favorites? Let’s share so more of us can feel that zing and sparkle in the days ahead and stay on top of living life at its best!

Remember to be kind to yourself and listen to your body. When we’re overextended, we can feel overly emotional, but a few little tweaks throughout the day can help balance things out.

Keep on dancing!
