If you were one of the thousands of Peloton members who participated in the 2023 Turkey Burn with Alex Toussaint or Robin Arzon on Thursday, November 23, 2023, you can now commemorate your achievement with an official Certificate of Participation from the Guinness Book of World Records.  Even if you were only able to log in for a portion of the class/s due to server issues, you still qualify. Here’s how to get yours.

Eligibility and Requirements

First, it’s important to note that only participants who logged in and took part in either Alex’s run or Robin’s ride during the live events on November 23, 2023, can claim a certificate. However long you rode or ran, you are eligible to receive a Certificate of Participation.  Although Peloton made Robin’s class available as an encore ride on Friday the 24th and extended the participation badge to include Members who took that ride, only Members in the actual live ride can apply for the certificate.

The certificate is available for purchase on the Guinness Book of World Records website, and it can take up to 16 weeks for the event to be officially recorded. As of this writing, the certificate for the 2023 Turkey Burn is not yet available, so keep checking the website for updates. And, we, of course, will update this article as soon as we see that it is available.

Getting Your Certificate

Once the certificate is available, you can purchase it on the Guinness Book of World Records website. The Certificate of Participation measures 148 x 210mm (5.83in x 8.27in) and features an exclusive GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS foil stamp embossed on the paper to authenticate its legitimacy.

The certificate will be delivered to the address you registered during the checkout process in a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS branded envelope. The cost is typically around $30 in the United States.

Show Off Your Achievement

Once you receive your Guinness Book of World Records Certificate of Participation, you can proudly display it to show that you were a part of breaking the record for “Most viewers of a running/jogging lesson live stream on a bespoke platform.” Because, you’re definitely gonna want to show that bad boy off, take a ton of selfies and brag to all of your friends that you are included in a world record (obviously).  But, really, these world records that were set by Peloton this past week are a testament to the community that this company has built over the last 10 years.
