Peloton Plans 3 Surprising New Beta Tests
You Can Bet Your Beta Test We’ve Got Some Exciting News!
Time to come out from hiding, former top-secret testers, Peloton has announced three exciting new initiatives that will be entering a public-facing beta test phase soon, and apparently they are really excited to gather user feedback!
What’s New? More Than You Might Think!
First of all, this exciting press release was shared in an unusual place online… LinkedIn! It’s not the platform that comes to mind for us as the most cutting edge for such big news, but hey, Peloton likes to keep us guessing, we guess!
Secondly, the biggest surprise here is that Peloton will be soliciting feedback from both Members and Non-members with these new concepts. If you have ever been on the receiving end of one of those earlier beta testing emails that feels like they are inviting you into a double-reverse-hex-secret-society-and-if-you-break-confidentiality-they-will-be-really-upset… then this development might come as quite a shock (but also kind of a relief)!
Let’s Get to the Hot Details
Peloton reports they are developing programs focused on personalization, expanded strength workouts, and gaming-inspired exercise options. These plans have been made in response to member feedback already, so we are thrilled to hear that they will also be taking feedback into account as they hone and refine the programs.
Are you Ready for…?
1. Personalized Plans
Ever felt lost about where to start with your fitness routine? Personalized Plans on the Peloton App will be able to help you out. This feature will combine personal training expertise with machine learning to craft a weekly class schedule just for you. Start with goals like “Get Stronger” or “Support Weight Goals” and see your plan unfold on the Peloton App, Bike/+, Tread/+, and Row.
2. Peloton Strength+ App
Strength classes continue to grow in popularity on the platform, and Peloton is responding to that demand by testing the Peloton Strength+ app, designed specifically for gym-goers. With Instructor-led programs, audio guidance, and a custom workout generator, this standalone app for iOS users will help us take our strength workouts to the next level. Get ready to flex!
3. Gaming-Inspired Workouts
Following the success of Lanebreak, Peloton is stepping up its game (literally!) with a new immersive cycling experience. Imagine cycling through virtual landscapes with your personalized avatar—either solo or alongside other riders. This is the first venture of this type within their gaming-inspired offerings, and they are excited for Member feedback.
Your Voice Matters
These beta tests won’t all start at once, but the feedback Peloton plans to gather will be crucial in shaping these new features. Stay tuned to learn how you can be part of the testing team on these exciting new ventures ahead!
