Peloton Milestone Badges Get a Fresh Look
Peloton’s New Badge Designs Unveiled
Move over, blue and silver! Say hello to the bold new color combos of fuchsia and blue, and green and red. Peloton has officially rolled out a facelift for its milestone badges, and if you check your profile today, you’ll spot the difference right away. But there’s more to this revamp than just colors – the designs for each workout category have been fine-tuned, too.
A Rundown of the Badge Designs
First things first, all the updated milestone badges now share a circular design, but each workout category gets its own unique flair.
Here’s a quick breakdown of the new aesthetic vibes for each workout type:
- Cycling milestones mimic an atomic symbol.
- Running milestones feature parallelograms above and below the milestone number.
- Walking milestones keep the parallelogram idea but transition them into rectangles.
- Rowing milestones play with wave patterns – perfect for the water theme!
- Bootcamps across Bike, Tread, and Row reuse their respective cycling, running, and rowing symbols, but now with a thick border around the circle.
- Strength milestones resemble a spoked wheel.
- Stretching milestones frame the milestone number with two parallel lines plus a criss-cross finish at the top and bottom of the circle.
- Yoga milestones swirl gracefully around the milestone number.
- Meditation milestones layer their design with serene concentric circles.
- Cardio milestones divide each circle into four quadrants, featuring semi-circular line patterns.
Eagle-eyed Members may also notice that the upper limits for milestones have been bumped up to 5,000. While the jury is out on the new look of the badges, we know this increase in number of milestones will be welcomed by the community as a whole.
Strength Milestone Refresh Stops at 200
Curiously, the Strength category received this shiny new makeover only up to the 200-workout milestone. Anything beyond 200 still shows the old design. Why the unfinished cut-off? We’re not sure, but hopefully, Peloton will keep evolving this category down the line, just for the sake of continuity.
Streak Badges and Guide Milestones Stay the Same
If you were hoping for a complete overhaul of your badge inventory, hold on! Streak badges, for instance, retain their classic blue-and-silver look. Nostalgic, or outdated? That’s up for debate.
Meanwhile, owners of the Peloton Guide might notice that milestone badges exclusive to this device didn’t get the same refresh. No word from Peloton yet on whether the Guide badges will get an update in the future.
What’s the Verdict?
It’s time to turn the mic over to you, fellow riders, runners, rowers, lifters and Yogis. Are you loving this badge glow-up, or are you hanging onto the old designs like your favorite pair of worn-in workout shoes (you know the ones)? We are genuinely curious to know how these are resonating with the community.
