Don’t Miss World Theater Day: The Best Peloton Broadway Classes Already Waiting in Your Library
March 27 is World Theater Day, and if you are a Peloton member who loves a good Broadway-themed workout, this one is for you.
Peloton Broadway classes have become a beloved corner of the platform, and there is a very good reason for that. Several Peloton instructors have deep roots in theater and performance, and they bring that experience into every single class they teach.
A Stage in a Studio: Why Peloton Broadway Classes Work So Well
There is something undeniably theatrical about a great Peloton class. The lights, the music, the energy of an instructor commanding the room: it is all a performance.
When you layer in the actual soundtrack of a beloved musical, things get truly special. Peloton Broadway classes span every modality on the platform, including cycling, running, walking, strength, and yoga. No matter how you prefer to move, there is a showstopping playlist waiting for you.
The platform has offered themed classes built around specific musicals like Hamilton, Wicked, Rent, SIX, Moulin Rouge!, Dear Evan Hansen, Mamma Mia, &Juliet, In the Heights, The Color Purple, and even a full Andrew Lloyd Webber series. There are also general Broadway-themed classes that pull songs and artists from across the entire musical theater world, so no two playlists ever feel quite the same.
You can browse the full Peloton Broadway Collection here.
These are not just classes with a fun playlist slapped on top. The best ones are carefully crafted experiences led by instructors who genuinely love the theater.

A Note on the Class Library
Before we dive in, it is worth knowing that not every Peloton Broadway class ever created is still available on the platform. The library has grown significantly over the years, and it continues to be one of the most popular collections on the platform.
Music licensing means some classes get pulled from the on-demand library over time. The Color Purple classes, for example, are no longer available. If you spot a Broadway class you love, bookmark it sooner rather than later. It may not be there forever.
Meet the Instructors Who Live for the Spotlight
Sam Yo
Sam Yo may be the most theater-credentialed instructor on the entire Peloton roster.
The London-based cycling instructor is a former West End performer whose debut was in a 2000 production of The King and I at the London Palladium. He approaches his Peloton Broadway classes as full musical theater experiences, building them with the same care for narrative arc and performance he would bring to an actual stage.
In 2023, he made history as the first Thai actor to play the King of Siam in a UK tour of The King and I. The Peloton community celebrated right alongside him.

Matty Maggiacomo
Matty Maggiacomo is the Tread instructor who wears his theater love on his sleeve and on his podcast.
A born entertainer and self-proclaimed theater queen, Matty studied dramatic literature, theater history, and cinema alongside journalism at NYU. He launched his own Broadway podcast, “Drama Club with Matty,” where he interviews Broadway stars about their craft.
His Peloton Broadway classes on the Tread include runs and walks set to musicals like Hamilton, Rent, Wicked, and SIX. He has even modeled for the Wicked x Target apparel collaboration.
Adding to the excitement, Matty was recently spotted at the opening night of Moulin Rouge on Broadway, beaming in a photo alongside @kelsiewattsmusic, who captioned it with “100% slayed opening night” as Satine. For a self-proclaimed theater queen who has built his brand around the intersection of fitness and Broadway, being there for that kind of milestone moment feels like second nature.
Here is a fun detail worth noting: March 27 also happens to be a Friday, which means Matty’s regular weekly Walk & Talk is on the schedule that day. The big question on everyone’s mind is whether this theater queen will lean into the occasion and deliver a World Theater Day or Broadway-themed episode. Honestly, it would be a crime against the stage if he did not. Keep an eye on the live schedule closer to the date.

Hannah Corbin
Hannah Corbin brings a performer’s soul to the cycling, barre, Pilates, and dance cardio she teaches.
An Alvin Ailey-trained dancer who specialized in aerial acrobatics, she performed in off-Broadway productions including Fuerza Bruta and Queen of the Night before finding her way to Peloton. She has spoken openly about her desire to return to the stage, and that theatrical heart shows up in every class.
On the Peloton Broadway classes front, Hannah has led &Juliet themed classes on the platform, bringing the joyful, feel-good energy of that modern jukebox musical to her workouts in a way that feels completely natural.

Jess King
Jess King is a performer through and through.
She was the lead in a Cirque du Soleil production in Las Vegas and a Top 10 finalist on So You Think You Can Dance in 2008. Her classes carry the energy of someone who has commanded a stage for years.
Jess has brought that presence to several Peloton Broadway classes, including Mamma Mia, In the Heights, and Dear Evan Hansen themed workouts. Whether you are cycling or running, a Jess King Broadway class is a full-on experience.

Christine D’Ercole
Christine D’Ercole is one of Peloton’s original cycling instructors, and her theater roots run deep.
She grew up dreaming of Broadway, attended a performing arts high school, and went on to study theater at Carnegie Mellon University before her path took her into competitive cycling. Her Broadway-themed rides date all the way back to 2015, making her a true pioneer of Peloton Broadway classes.
More recently, Christine has led &Juliet and Dear Evan Hansen themed rides, two musicals that clearly resonate with her. There is a reason her Broadway classes feel so carefully crafted: they come from someone who genuinely trained for the stage.

Mariana Fernandez
Mariana Fernandez is perhaps the most classically trained stage actress on the entire Peloton instructor roster.
She starred as the lead role of Lucia in Fade at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, a critically praised two-person play, and later returned to the DCPA to star as Tania Del Valle in Native Gardens. These are serious professional stage credits that speak to a performer who dedicated herself to the craft long before she ever taught a yoga class.
That love for the stage translates beautifully on the platform. She led a 30-minute In the Heights Yoga Flow set to the music from Lin-Manuel Miranda’s hit Broadway musical, featuring songs performed by Miranda and the original Broadway cast. It is exactly the kind of class only someone with a genuine love for theater would think to create. Search for it in the on-demand library and thank us later.

Broadway Classes for German-Speaking Members Too
The love for musical theater on Peloton is not limited to English-language classes, and that is worth celebrating.
Benny Adami
Benny Adami has led German-language Broadway rides covering musicals including Andrew Lloyd Webber, SIX, and general Broadway-themed classes. His rides bring the same theatrical joy to members who prefer to work out in German.

Jeffrey McEachern
Jeffrey McEachern has done the same on the running side, leading German-language Broadway runs set to musicals including SIX and Moulin Rouge!. For German-speaking members who love Peloton Broadway classes, these two instructors make sure no one gets left out of the fun.

Mila Lazar
Mila Lazar brings a background in dance and choreography to everything she teaches, and that performer’s instinct has been a hallmark of her classes since she joined the Peloton team. A German-language cycling and Pilates instructor based out of Peloton Studios London, Mila has embraced themed and artist series classes enthusiastically throughout her time on the platform.
She has led German-language Wicked themed classes in both 2024 and 2025, bringing the magic of one of the most beloved musicals of all time to German-speaking members in their own language. For members who love Peloton Broadway classes, Mila, Benny, and Jeffrey make sure the fun is fully accessible no matter what language you work out in.

Something for Everyone: The General Broadway Classes
Not every Broadway fan has a favorite musical, and Peloton has those members covered too.
In addition to the show-specific themed classes, there are general Peloton Broadway classes across multiple modalities that pull together songs and artists from a wide range of musicals. These are perfect for members who want the energy and excitement of a Broadway playlist without being locked into a single show.
They are also a great way to discover a new musical you might not have heard before, which honestly sounds like a win any way you look at it.
Peloton Broadway Classes Across Every Modality
One of the most exciting things about the Peloton Broadway classes library is how wide the net is cast.
You do not have to be a cyclist to join in. There are Broadway-themed runs and walks on the Tread, yoga flows, strength classes, and stretching sessions all built around musical theater soundtracks.
The instructors highlighted here are far from the only ones who have stepped into the spotlight. Over the years, many other Peloton instructors across multiple modalities have led their own Broadway or musical theater themed classes as well. The breadth of the library reflects just how much the entire instructor team embraces the joy of musical theater.
The instructors highlighted here are far from the only ones who have stepped into the spotlight. Over the years, a large number of Peloton instructors across every modality have led their own Broadway or musical theater themed classes. Instructors like Ally Love, Robin Arzon, Leanne Hainsby, and many others have all taken their turn with a Broadway playlist, and the list continues to grow. The breadth of the library reflects just how much the entire instructor team embraces the joy of musical theater.
Be sure to check the full Peloton Broadway Collection regularly, as new classes are added over time and the lineup continues to evolve.
Curtain Call
World Theater Day is a global celebration of an art form that has moved and inspired audiences for centuries.
The fact that Peloton has built a library of Peloton Broadway classes led by instructors with genuine performing arts backgrounds is something truly worth celebrating. These instructors are not just playing a role in the studio. They are channeling a lifetime of performance experience to make your workout feel like something more.
So this March 27, why not mark World Theater Day by jumping into a Broadway class? And if Matty shows up with a theater-themed Walk & Talk, that might be the perfect place to start.
