New Content: Peloton Launched Innovative Options for 2024
We all love the classic Peloton classes, but we also love new content to keep things fresh and to keep up with the latest trends in fitness and health. Peloton did not disappoint us this year as we were able to try some new modalities of classes to keep things exciting and to refresh our bodies and minds. Here is a recap of all of the fresh types of classes Peloton gifted us in 2024.
New Content: Split+ Classes
If you can’t pick between cardio and strength, this is the series for you! Whether you prefer the tread, rower, or bike, you can have it all with Peloton’s Split+ programs. You can join Ben or Cliff on the bike, Katie on the Row, or Olivia on the tread – these classes include a block of strength training and a separate block of cardio, so you don’t have to worry about moving on and off the equipment like you do in a traditional bootcamp. These programs give you four days of instructor coordinated cardio and strength workouts for the best of both worlds! Each day focuses on a different body part, so you get a great full body workout during the week.
You can read our Clip Out team’s in depth review of each of these programs here.
New Content: Peloton x Lululemon Playdates
While training for a marathon or pursuing the perfect pushup can be serious stuff, sometimes you want a lighter way to exercise. Peloton teamed up with Lululemon to bring you some lighthearted fun from your favorite instructors, including Adrian Williams, Matt Wilpers, Becs Gentry, Ally Love, and Chelsea Jackson Roberts – Matt and Adrian even do a great tag team class, full of lots of lighthearted banter. Classes include stretches, cardio, strength, yoga, barre, and a warm up, all either 5 or 10 minutes long. It’s a quick way to cheer up your day! These classes would be a great way to introduce your “I’ll never get into that Peloton cult” family member and friends to the Peloton platform. Read more about these classes here!
New Content: Discover Strength Program
Joslyn Thompson Rule has crafted a program that’s not just about lifting weights; it’s about integrating mobility into your strength journey and teaching you the “why” of basic strength moves. This is a six week program with classes 3 days a week for 20 – 30 minutes each. The first four weeks are packed with four separate 20-minute mobility sessions, paving the way for a smooth and extended warm-up in weeks 5 and 6.This program focuses on flexibility and power and is great for beginners or experienced lifters who want to focus on technique. Read more about the Discover Strength Program here. There is also a German version of this program with Assal Arian, with each class focusing on a different move (The Snatch, The Clean and Jerk, and the Overhead Squat).
New Content: Strength for Skiers & Strength for Golfers
Want to improve your performance on the snowy slopes or the golf course? There’s a program for you! Both programs are repeatable one week programs with five days of workouts that focus on mobility and strength.
The Strength for Skiers Program is led by Andy Speer and Matt Wilpers and combines strength and mobility to help you safely and efficiently conquer your favorite ski trail. Read all about this program here.
New Content: Benchmark Strength Classes
A great benefit of strength training is measuring your progress – it’s not just how your muscles look, it’s how they perform as well! Peloton’s Benchmark Strength Class Collection was created to help you track your progress. These 20 minute classes give you a benchmark test for upper, lower, core, full body and even bodyweight, and if you retake them every six weeks you can track your progress and celebrate the stronger version of you! Find all of the strength benchmark classes in our article.
New Content: Barre Program
If you love Barre classes, or if you just want to work those tiny muscles that don’t get attention during your regular strength workouts, this program is for you. Ally Love and Hannah Corbin have brought you a four week barre program with three classes per week that culminates in a one hour long challenging barre class. You’ll work your arms, legs, glutes, and core in this series, with classes ranging from 5 minutes to the final hour long burner. Read our review of this program here.
New Content: Goodnight Peloton
Finally, if you’re ready to wind down for the evening and you need to focus on sleep, the Goodnight Peloton collection is for you. These classes, led by Adrian Williams and Jon Hosking, are curated to help you wind down. Follow these cases with a sleep meditation, and we promise you’ll be off to dreamland.
