Celebrate with Peloton’s German Carnival Classes 2026
Celebrate German Carnival with a new collection of themed classes by Peloton. On February 7th, members can join live and on-demand workouts that honor the festive season, a significant cultural event in Germany. Expect plenty of festive greetings like “Helau” and “Alaaf”, traditional Carnival exclamations that set the lively tone for this annual celebration. This special programming provides a unique fitness experience rooted in tradition.
What Are German Carnival Classes?
Peloton’s German Carnival Classes are a series of themed workouts designed to capture the spirit of the celebration. Known for its parades, costumes, and music, Carnival is a time of high energy and community. These classes aim to bring that atmosphere directly to members. Joining one of these classes feels a lot like stepping into a big party that is lively, welcoming, and full of shared celebration. The PSL instructors really bring the energy showcasing the humor and cheer that are central to Carnival.
These workouts are an opportunity for members, both in Germany and worldwide, to connect with the cultural event through fitness. This year’s content builds upon Peloton’s tradition of offering culturally relevant and timely workout collections.

This is not the first time Peloton has recognized German Carnival. For members looking to get into the spirit before or after February 7, past Carnival workouts are available to explore in the on-demand library. Previous years’ classes can be found under the title or search term “5. Jahreszeit,” which translates to “the fifth season”, a traditional name for the Carnival period in Germany.
In previous years, instructors have worn vibrant costumes to bring the festive mood to life. The instructor pairs each workout with lively playlists inspired by the celebration. You’ll hear plenty of “Helau” and “Alaaf” throughout these classes, as they invite everyone to join in the festivities. The result is a series of engaging and entertaining workouts that feel like going to a big party.
