Rebecca and Andy’s Festival of Us- Wedding Super Special!

Peloton fairy tales do come true! After two years of dating and almost a year engaged, our favorite dramatic birds made it official this week in Italy, surrounded by family and friends and beneath a tree hung with spectacularly sparkling disco balls.

 How Did We Get Here?

Well, it started on safari in South Africa… well, maybe before that it started with some dumbbells, but then Andy wound up falling for Rebecca instead.

Seriously, though, we’ve been waiting on this one for a while, and things started kicking up last week when suddenly, mysteriously, some of our favorites began appearing in Italy.

We all suspected it was coming, and the official announcement hit: The Festival of Us had begun.

(Yep- the Festival of Us. Say it a few times, I promise it starts sounding pretty catchy.)

Put a Bunch of Peloton Instructors in Italy….

You’ll get some antics (we’ll get to those) but also some athletics, starting with this attempt by Signore Morton to help a certain redhead with her balance poses.

30 min Two for One Yoga with Denis and Jess?

We had diving practice…

And of course, time to enjoy nature.

Let’s Talk About the Outfits

Or rather, all the outfits except these specific pants on Andy- because we’re not sure what’s even going on with these. It’s a fashion choice, I’m sure… but I don’t understand it.

Back in the world of formalwear NOT likely to make you trip and fall on your wedding night, Tunde proved once again that she knows how to wear an outfit better than… possibly anyone. Not just anyone at the wedding, anyone in the world.

Rebecca and Andy showed us that not only do they look like Barbie and Ken, they dress like them too.

So I have one other great couple photo of them in swimwear, but I’m resisting the temptation to post it here, and only referencing it in this caption. It MIGHT just be hidden in one of the IGs in this story, but I’m claiming ZERO responsibility for that. Blame Tunde. (Or maybe we’ll just make it the cover art for this whole thing.)

This one was just a dang supermodel, again and again.

Like a magazine cover, y’all.

Please tell me they didn’t make BA keep designing outfits this entire week.

And of course, this guy in pink. There’s a surprising amount to unpack in this photo, including the matching shoes and the big bubbles in the background (LOVE!)

My favorite part? This is a man truly committed to comfortable pants.

And NOW the Antics

Apparently, it got messy.

Ft. Sophia in the back, wearing what might be the shortest BA dress ever.

There were, of course, bathing suit cocktails.

The hat! You’ve got to be committed to carry the hat overseas. (Or maybe she bought it there?)

And children’s playgrounds.

Jess brings the chaos- or was it Brittany who started it?

Despite all the partying, though, the guests took some time to see the sights- and DJ John Michael took the time to track down his family heritage (quite successfully!)

This is awesome… and also EXACTLY what I’d have guessed his handwriting looked like.

Enough Love to Go Around

Not only the newlyweds enjoyed a romantic time in Italy. DJ John Michael and husband Brian took time not just for geneaology, but for romance (and if you love international food… check out their stories for that, too!)

Say it with me… awwwwwww.

Jess and Sophia showed again that they might just be too much gorgeous for one household.

Brittany Allen and husband Derek took in the sights as well, on one of the rainier days.

(NOT wearing a BA original.)

And…. does it get cuter than these two?

(Except now I’m worried about Frankie Williams getting enough love and cuddles while his dad was out of town.)

A Lot Went Down

Adrian may have shown it best in his Instagram summary… so much dancing, so much fun, romance, gorgeous-looking weather and scenery, super-hot people, and all the amazing outfits you could possibly dream of.

Tunde also gave us a story of the week abroad that makes us, like, REALLY jealous.

Just photoshop yourself in here somewhere. No one will ever be able to tell.

And at the end, everyone took home olive oil.

Yep- olive oil. I wonder if they also got a disco ball from the tree? I wonder if I could get a disco ball from that tree?
