New Valkyries Collective Welcomes Kirsten Ferguson

Kirsten Ferguson has joined the Valkyries Collective, an initiative launched by the Golden State Valkyries ahead of their inaugural WNBA season. The Collective brings together influential figures to support the team’s mission through community outreach, storytelling, and cultural leadership.

About the Golden State Valkyries

The Golden State Valkyries are the WNBA’s newest franchise and will begin play in 2025. Based in the Bay Area, the team is focused on building an inclusive, empowering brand from day one.

Kirsten’s Valkyries Collective Role

The Valkyries Collective includes leaders from sports, entertainment, and media who help shape the team’s identity and deepen its impact off the court. Ferguson, known for her powerful presence at Peloton, brings a strong voice for wellness, motivation, and community.

Her role aligns closely with Peloton’s recent partnership with the WNBA, making this collaboration a natural extension of both brands’ shared commitment to elevating women in sports.

Other members of the Valkyries Collective include Michelle Wie West, Meena Harris, Goapele, and Hunter & Alexis Pence. More names will be announced as the season approaches.
