This and That: Week of October 26

It’s time for This & That! We’ve got some juicy tidbits for you this week. From fashion statements to heartfelt apologies, here are five lesser-known but noteworthy stories from the world of Peloton.

Tunde’s 100 Days of Looks

Fashionistas, rejoice! Tunde Oyeneyin has completed her “100 Days of Looks” challenge on Instagram, and it’s a visual treat. From sporty to glam to casual, she shared a selfie video featuring a hundred different ensembles over the course of 100 days. Now that she’s reached Day 100, Tunde posted a video compilation of all her looks—and trust us, we want them all! Whether you’re looking for inspiration or just a style fix, this is worth checking out.

The Row’s Lifetime Distance Feature

Row, row, row your… metrics? Peloton is slowly rolling out a lifetime distance feature for the Row. While not everyone sees it yet, the Peloton social groups are buzzing with excitement. This feature will allow you to keep track of your total rowing distance over time. It’s a great way to stay motivated and celebrate your rowing milestones. Keep an eye on your Row to see if this feature pops up!

Cody Rigsby and Cheryl Burke’s Heartfelt Exchange

Drama alert! Cody Rigsby’s former Dancing with the Stars partner, Cheryl Burke, recently opened up about their experience on her podcast, “Sex, Lies, and Spray Tans.” In a candid moment, Cheryl apologized to Cody for her bad attitude during their DWTS stint, citing personal struggles as the cause. According to an article on ew.com, Cody seems to have graciously accepted her apology, and all seems well between these two dance floor stars. You can read the full article here.

Hyatt and Peloton Perks

Here’s some good news for our globe-trotting Peloton enthusiasts! World of Hyatt members received an email encouraging them to link their Hyatt and Peloton accounts. By doing so, they can earn extra Hyatt Bonus Points for completing select Peloton workouts on the Bike or Row at over 700 Hyatt locations. It’s a win-win for those who love to stay active while traveling.

Pedal Replacement Reminders

Last but not least, Peloton is sending reminders to bike owners about pedal replacements. A pop-up notification appears on bikes, advising users to replace their pedals and providing a QR code for easy purchase. While some members question the necessity (after all, many have never replaced their pedals), it’s better to pedal safe than sorry! Replacement pedals are available for $55 if you’re in need and you can purchase them here.
