Why you loved them!
Sometimes it’s hard to pick just one favorite (clear by the number of bookmarked classes we have to “take later”), but these reviews make it easy! Here’s what the TCO Community had to say about their favorite classes from the last week.
1. Favorite Row
06/17/2024 Camp Bootcamp with Katie Wang
Sonya Norman gave some love to Katie Wang this week, with a well deserved shoutout to her Camp Rowing Bootcamp class! Sonya said that this class was not only a great workout – she also said “I didn’t even realize how hard I was working because Katie made it so fun – and the playlist was perfect!” The songs for this class included “It’s Raining Men” by the Weather Girls, “Macho Man” by YMCA, and I Feel Love” by Donna Summer, just to name a few. So much fun yet so much work, with Katie’s usual upbeat instruction.
2. Favorite Artist Series Ride
06/01/2024 Lil’ John Ride With Alex Toussaint
Jill Tokarczyk said that this was her favorite ride this week, saying it was “amazing! It was a tough workout but I was sad when it was done. Alex and Lil’ John had great energy. I can’t wait to do it again.” Other Clip Out fans agreed, including Felicia Allen, who said it was the best ride she has ever taken, and Pat Darling, who said it was “pure fun and energy.” Stacie Elise also picked this ride, saying “this ride was my absolute favorite ride I think I’ve ever done on Peloton. Absolutely insanely awesome!! The energy,t he playlist, having Lil’ John there as a live DJ and rapping, the freaking SHOTS with Camila and Ashley during the show, the club music! All of it was insane and just so fun!!! I did it live and couldn’t stop smiling for the rest of the night!””
3. Favorite Strength Class
04/01/2024 Strength Roll Call with Rebecca Kennedy
Cortney Marisa picked this class, saying “Rebecca did a 100 rep pyramid challenge which sounded scary at first, but I was really glad I stuck with it. Fun play list, very challenging class, but she made it achievable..spoiler… even the 50 pushups.” This was a body weight class, but body weight does not mean slacking, as Cortney and others who took the class most likely discovered at about pushup number 40.
4. Favorite Peloton Farewell Ride
06/29/2024 Farewell Ride with Kendall Toole
It was inevitable that this ride would end up in our listener’s favorite classes this week. Michelle Weisser Clark said this class was “emotional, challenging (would have PR’d had it not been for the tears) and fun. It was great to see Mariana, Camila, and Ash in there riding with Kendall. She made it special for everyone and the playlist was chef’s kiss!!” Andy Townshend also mentioned this ride, saying that this was the saddest ride for him. Kendall definitely brought all the energy to this ride, and she’ll be missed by many as she moves away from Peloton and on to other pursuits.
5. Favorite Unstackable Ride
11/5/2023 60 Minute Rock Ride with Sam Yo
David Stember (#psychodoc) not only picked this weeks’ unstackable class but also cracked us up with his apt commentary. David said that Sam Yo’s 60 minute ride, which was a live ride at the ungodly hour of 5 a.m., was truly unstackable. David observed “Sam’s a Peloton instructor, Stage Actor, Buddhist monk and apparently the cardio God of Rock.” The music for this ride included a lot of class top metal songs, but what made it unstackable is evident in David’s question – “Where’s the freaking break between climbs?” followed by his own answer – “Ha, there isn’t one. Only suffering, agony and lamentation.” Poetically said, David!
