TCO Top 5 Favorite Peloton classes: Stay motivated with this week’s picks (07/30/2025)

Last Updated: July 29, 2025By Tags:

Every Monday, we ask the Clip Out community to share their favorite class from the last week. Your stories of love, sweat, and tears always inspire us to keep moving. We are excited to share the five most enthusiastic nominations (in no particular order) and a quick review of each class. Read on for our weekly dose of motivation!

This week’s favorite Peloton classes:

1. Grind & Defined Split with Rebecca Kennedy

2. 05/12/2025 90 Minute Long Run with Mariana Fernandez

3. 07/23/2025 20 Minute Soul Walk with Alex Toussaint

4. 07/26/2025 45 Minute Two for One Outdoor Run Club with Becs Gentry and Susie Chan

5. Day 2 of the Split+Walk program with Joslyn Thompson Rule

Why you loved them!

Sometimes it’s hard to pick just one favorite (clear by the number of bookmarked classes we have to “take later”), but these reviews make it easy! Here’s what the TCO Community had to say about their favorite classes from the last week.

1. Favorite Strength+ app Split

Grind & Defined Split with Rebecca Kennedy

Mindy Jensen loved this split (which is only available on the Strength+ app, which is only available to Apple users).  Mindy loves this split, saying “I’m currently starting week 7 and am really enjoying it! I have been able to increase my weights from where I started – I love being able to see that progress.  It’s a one week program designed to be repeated.  The set up is as follows:  Upper Pull, Lower Squat, Upper Push and Lower Hinge. The moves are basic, but not easy!  Remember if you don’t have equipment for a move, you can swap out exercises for what you do have.  So if you all you have are dumbbells, it will still work.”    If you haven’t explored the Peloton splits or  Strength+ app classes yet, click the links to read our articles giving you the scoop on both.  Mindy adds  “I think part of why I like the strength+ app programs is I can watch TV while doing them so I’m not listening to the same class over and over again.”

2. Favorite Run

05/12/2025 90 Minute Long Run with Mariana Fernandez

This class was nominated by Mercedes Szurgot.  She said “I took this run and it was so unbelievably motivating!  I love how Mariana split the blocks of work to be like the format of a play and then had it be about her life – which a lot of us can relate too.”   In fact, this class was so motivating that Mercedes hit a PR!  Congrats, Mercedes!

3. Favorite Outdoor Walk

07/23/2025 20 Minute Soul Walk with Alex Toussaint

This outdoor walk is amazing, as Marie KBurdick noted when she nominated it.  Marie  said “[t]he words “Alex Toussaint” and “chill” are never in the same sentence but this outdoor walk is just that.  Was perfect for a walk on these humid days.”  The music for this walk is truly chill, and who doesn’t have twenty minutes to spend with Alex, even when the weather is toasty?  What a great way to enjoy the last few weeks of summer.

4. Favorite Outdoor Run

07/26/2025 45 Minute Two for One Outdoor Run Club  with Becs Gentry and Susie Chan

Karen Smith loved this outdoor run (who doesn’t love a twofer).  Karen said this run was “fantastic!  I couldn’t even tell you any of the music played because the banter between these two was easy and fun to listen to. All two for one classes are awesome but these two have some magic together.  Made the time fly by!”  Margot Schubert Ridout also loved this run, saying that she “had the same thought about the music, but it didn’t really matter.  Mariana’s outdoor run club class from the week before was really good too!”  Sounds like if you haven’t tried an outdoor running class – this is your sign to try one – or two….

5. Favorite Unstackable Strength + walk class

Sometimes we want a class that leaves us in a puddle and washes all hope of a stack of extra classes away with it. We call those classes Unstackable, and we love hearing about our listeners’ Unstackable experiences.

Day 2 of the Split+Walk program with Joslyn Thompson Rule

Karen Smith is an overachiever this week, recommending the outdoor run club run (for fun) and this strength + walk class (for questioning your choices).  Karen said this class was “so good!  It’s been a hot minute since I really felt my sides being sore but this class did it.  Tall kneeling side bends sneak up on you!”  Remember, this class can only be found in the “program” section of Peloton equipment (including the guide)!
