The Pur Artist Series Is Peloton’s Love Letter to German Pop
The Peloton Pur Artist Series
The Pur Artist Series is landing at Peloton Studios London (PSL) this Friday, March 20th, in a surprise mid-month drop that gives German-speaking members and fans of the band something worth clearing the calendar for. Four classes, four instructors, and a catalog that has been quietly building inside the Peloton library for years, all coming together in one day.

Who Are Pur?
Pur is a legendary German pop band that has been a cornerstone of the German-speaking music scene since the late 1980s. Their music has defined a generation across the DACH region, and tracks like “Lena” and “Abenteuerland” remain deeply embedded in German pop culture. They are a household name for a reason.
Three facts worth knowing about Pur before you clip in:
- Pur has been releasing music since the late 1980s, with their 1995 album Abenteuerland becoming one of the best-selling albums in German music history.
- Their music resonates deeply with German-speaking audiences, making them a household name across the DACH region.
- Songs like “Ich Denk an Dich” and “Adler Sollen Fliegen” are known for their heartfelt, relatable themes that have kept fans connected to the band across decades.
Their music is grounded in melodic hooks and a rhythm-forward energy that translates well to movement. Tracks like “Herzbeben,” “Halt Dich Fest,” and “Adler Sollen Fliegen” have a natural push to them that makes sense on the bike or the mat.

Why This Artist Series Works
Pur’s music has a quality that suits group fitness well. The songs are upbeat without being frantic, emotionally resonant without being distracting, and the German lyrics give the whole series a distinct identity within the Peloton catalog.
With over 50 Pur songs already in the Peloton library, members who have been riding or training to Pur tracks will already have a feel for how the music lands during a workout. This series brings that experience into a dedicated, instructor-curated setting.
