Peloton’s Jess Sims Brings Sims 60 Workouts to the Bike and Bike+

Attention Peloton Peeps and Jess Sims fans! ! The multi-talented Jess will debut her first Sims 60 class for the Bike and Bike+ live on September 10 at 12: 15 pm (eastern). Jess’ inaugural Sims 60 Bike class will feature some awesome Hip Hop tunes.

So What Are the Sims 60 Classes?

Simply put, Jess’ Sims 60 classes have been 60 minute full-body Tread and Tread+ boot camp-style classes. Bootcamp classes are very challenging cross training classes that contain alternating blocks of strength and cardio work built into a single workout.  I’ve previously done one Jess Bike bootcamp class, and I’m not going to lie – the class basically kicked my butt. And this comes from a pretty hard-core Power Zone class rider.

The Sims 60 Tread classes typically have six blocks of work between 5-11 minutes each. We don’t quite know whether the Sims 60 Bike classes will follow the same format, but keep in mind that the Bike bootcamp classes typically build in some quick transition time so you can change from your Bike shoes to your regular workout shoes.

Why Should You Jess’s Try The Sims 60 Bike Class?

1. Build Strength

Combining cycling with strength training means you’re not just burning calories; you’re building muscle as well. The strength segments will focus on functional movements, ensuring you gain real-world strength that translates outside the gym.

2. Improve Cardiovascular Fitness

Cycling is fantastic for your heart health. The interval training will challenge your cardiovascular system, improving your endurance and overall fitness levels.

3. Boost Your Mood

Endorphins, anyone? Jess’s upbeat personality and killer playlists will have you pedaling and pumping away any stress or negativity. There’s something incredibly empowering about finishing a tough workout, and we expect this class to deliver.

4 Maximize Your Time

Got an hour? Great. These classes tend to pack a lot into 60 minutes. There’s no time to waste standing around. You crush your bike interval, then unclip, change shoes, and grab your weights. You’re working your entire body and getting a mix of cardio and strength training all at once. Efficient, right?

5. Stay Engaged

Jess’s dynamic coaching style ensures you’re always engaged. Her motivational cues, combined with her infectious energy, keep you pushing hard even when you want to give up.

Who Should Take This Class?

Are you a Peloton user? Then this class is for you. It doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned cyclist, fitness freak, or just getting started. These classes are designed to be scalable to your own fitness level. We’re definitely looking forward to Jess’ debut Sims60 for the Bike and we hope this is just the first of many we’ll see in the future.
