peloton personal trainer beta test emails are rolling out to people who signed up for the waitlist to try the new peloton personal trainer powered by trainwell service

Peloton Personal Trainer Beta Test

Last Updated: February 18, 2026By Tags: ,

Emails are now being sent to members who signed up for the Peloton Personal Trainer Beta Test, marking the next step in Peloton’s new virtual personal training program, Peloton Personal Trainer powered by Trainwell. This exclusive beta is available only to active All-Access Members using iOS devices, offering 1-on-1 personal training with unlimited messaging and check-ins with a dedicated trainer.

Unlike AI-driven programs, this service connects members with real, vetted trainers who are carefully selected by Peloton’s training team. As noted in the sign up, fewer than 3% of trainers meet the standards required to work with Trainwell, ensuring members receive expert guidance.

What to Expect During the Peloton Personal Trainer Beta Test Signup

The signup process for the Peloton Personal Trainer Beta Test is designed to create a highly personalized experience. Members are guided through a series of click-through menus to tailor their training preferences:

  1. Fitness Goals: Members select their current fitness objectives, such as weight management, longevity, injury prevention, or event training.
  2. Class Preferences: Members choose their favorite Peloton classes.
  3. Trainer Identity Preferences: Options include preferences for trainer demographics, such as gender or age.
  4. Trainer Experience: Members can indicate if they want their trainer to have experience with specific populations, such as pre/postnatal mothers, older adults, or neurodivergent individuals.
  5. Trainer Style: Members select their preferred communication style, such as empathetic, tough love, or analytical.

Once preferences are submitted, the system analyzes the responses and matches members with a few trainer options. Each trainer’s bio is provided, allowing members to make an informed decision.

Getting Started with Peloton Personal Trainer

After selecting a trainer, members are directed to download the Peloton Personal Trainer app from the App Store. The app guides users through connecting their Peloton account and scheduling an onboarding call. Importantly, the 14-day free trial does not begin until after the onboarding call is completed, giving members time to familiarize themselves with the program before committing.

A Human-Centered Approach to Personal Training

The Peloton Personal Trainer Beta Test places an emphasis human connection and accountability. Trainers provide unlimited messaging and regular check-ins to ensure members stay on track with their goals. This approach distinguishes it from AI-driven fitness programs, offering a personalized experience with a human touch.

Emails are being sent out on a rolling basis, so Peloton Personal Trainer Beta Test hopefuls on the waitlist should keep an eye on their inboxes, including their spam folders.
