The Peloton HSS Partnership Just Got More Powerful: Members Can Now Call for Expert Care
The Peloton HSS partnership has taken a meaningful step forward. In March 2026, Peloton began notifying members by email of a direct consultation line that connects them to orthopedic specialists at the Hospital for Special Surgery. If you are dealing with joint pain, a muscle issue, or an orthopedic condition, you can now call 212-606-1884 to connect with an HSS specialist and book an appointment.
This is not a free service. Cost depends on your insurance coverage, and Peloton is clear that insurance coverage and full access to HSS services are not guaranteed. What the line does offer is direct access to one of the world’s leading orthopedic institutions, which is a meaningful resource for members who are not sure where to turn next.

What the Peloton HSS Partnership Offers Members
The Hospital for Special Surgery is a globally recognized leader in orthopedics and rheumatology, and the Peloton HSS partnership brings that clinical expertise directly to the Peloton community. Through this collaboration, members have access to expert care for joint and muscle pain, injuries, and orthopedic conditions.
The phone line connects callers with the HSS connect and patient access team, which provides assistance with scheduling and recommendations based on availability, eligibility, insurance, and condition. As Peloton notes, insurance coverage and full access to HSS services are not guaranteed. This is a point worth understanding before you call: the line connects you with a team that will help navigate your options, but what you can access will depend on your specific coverage and situation.
How the Partnership Came Together
Peloton announced the HSS collaboration as part of a broader 2025 content and wellness expansion. TCO covered that original announcement here: Expanded Content Partnerships: Injury Recovery, Menopause, and HYROX Training.
The partnership was built around a practical idea: Peloton members are active people who sometimes get hurt, and they deserve access to expert-level guidance. HSS brings evidence-based programming developed by clinicians who specialize in exactly the kinds of conditions that active people actually face.
There is also a robust element of prevention built into this partnership programming.
The HSS Classes Already in the Peloton Library
The consultation line is the newest layer of the partnership, but the content collaboration has been building for months. Peloton has built out a substantial library of HSS-informed programming available now. TCO’s full breakdown of those collections is here: Peloton HSS Classes.
The collections cover a range of conditions and goals including bone health, desk worker strength and mobility, tennis elbow prevention, runner’s knee, and postpartum movement. All are found under the Collections tab on the Peloton platform and are built with clinical guidance from HSS, led by Peloton instructors.
Road to Recovery
Adrian Williams and the Shoulder Program
The Road to Recovery series is where the Peloton HSS partnership has produced its most structured rehabilitation content. Adrian Williams led the first installment, Road to Recovery: Shoulder, a program developed in collaboration with HSS for members navigating shoulder recovery. Adrian’s own experience with surgery and recovery gave the program a personal dimension that resonated with members. TCO covered his earlier recovery journey here: Adrian Williams Tells People Magazine About Surgery and Recovery.
Jess Sims and the ACL Program
The second Road to Recovery program focused on ACL rehabilitation and is led by Jess Sims, who experienced her own knee surgery. TCO covered the program’s development, including Jess teasing the project before its launch: Jess Sims Teases a New Program on Instagram. The full launch coverage is here: Peloton Launches New Road to Recovery ACL Program in Collaboration with HSS.
Note, these programs are intended to support, not replace, professional medical advice or physical therapy.
How to Use the HSS Consultation Line
If you are managing joint or muscle pain, dealing with an injury, or have an orthopedic condition you want expert guidance on, call 212-606-1884 to reach the HSS connect and patient access team.
A few important reminders directly from Peloton’s communication to members: this is not a free service, and what you can access depends on your insurance. Services include HSS connect and patient access team assistance with scheduling and recommendations based on availability, eligibility, insurance, and condition. Insurance coverage and full access to HSS services are not guaranteed. That said, having a direct line to one of the most respected orthopedic institutions in the world is a meaningful addition to what the Peloton HSS partnership already offers.
