Peloton Hires First Chief Communications Officer

Crystal OKeefe: Welcome to the Clip Out Podcast, episode four 12. This is Crystal O’Keefe,

Tom OKeefe: and this is Tom O’Keefe. Hi.

Crystal OKeefe: Hi.

Tom OKeefe: Hi.

Crystal OKeefe: What a race today.

Tom OKeefe: you were working and you were just like, I’m done. Let’s record.

Crystal OKeefe: It’s this is gonna be a new process, so

Tom OKeefe: get it. You’re taking over the editing of the show again, pulling that back in house. And we think the software has gotten to the point where it’s going to be significantly easier than it

Crystal OKeefe: was,

but I’m very anxious, if I’m wrong.

Tom OKeefe: Yeah.

What pray, tell do you have in store for people?

Crystal OKeefe: We’re gonna do a quick review of the earnings call. That took place last week. We’re also going to talk about whatever Peloton is doing with their digital marketing.

And we’re gonna talk about their brand new Chief Communications

officer. And we’re also going to do a little bit of a highlight of Mother’s Day and how that went at Peloton. So if that’s a trigger warning for people, Just

Be Aware. We are gonna talk about what’s going on with the leaderboard.

Those changes have continued this week as I thought that they might. And we also have some instructor news for Kira, Rebecca, Robin, and one of the best articles I think of the year, the superlatives. And so we’re gonna talk about artist series we have past guest update and all kinds of content to cover.

Awesome. Before we get to all that shameless plugs, don’t forget we’re available on Apple Podcast, Spotify iHeart. Tune in wherever you find a podcast. You can find us. While you were [00:02:00] there, be sure and follow us so you never miss an episode. Maybe leave us a review. You can also find us on patreon.com/the clip out.

You almost said, real spoilers. I don’t know what you’re talking about.

We have an episode that I recorded like six weeks ago for real spoilers, Patreon Yeah. Kevin has had just a bitch of a time editing why, and

The tracks didn’t line up and oh, I just thought it was related to the record for the first 10 minutes or something. I don’t know. it’s, it was a whole thing.

And then it got some sort of, a Copyright injunction because of ballroom blitz by the suite. Oh. And I was like, did we sing it? What happened? I, think the problem is we included it because it took so long for you to edit. We just thought it would’ve been in the public domain I’m sure Kevin loved that. Yeah. Patreon.

yes, which is where this all started. That’s just an easy way for you to support the show if you would like. [00:03:00] Financially. It’s only $5 a month and what you get for that is you get ad free episode. If we get ’em early, you get ’em early, and right now they might even be very late or very early.

You never know. It’s gonna be a real big toss up today. Patreon members will have a little insight as to how this is all going. They sure will

by. If all of a sudden they get it Wednesday night, even know that is killing it if they don’t get it. till Friday they’ll know Crystal’s not killing it.

Tom is in. Very danger. And what are we covering on the Patreon episode? on the Patreon? Bonus episode. You are going to get the best times to exercise for your sleep. You’re gonna get us talking about a marathon mom ignoring her family at the finish line.

I Don’t blame her at all.

Like I, I

am on the side of the mom and Peloton achieves a landmark up culture milestone. That is all over on the patriarch. Also don’t [00:04:00] forget that you can find us on Facebook at facebook.com/the clip out. While you’re there, like the page, join the group. Don’t forget that you can watch all of these over.

On YouTube, which is the real scary part for the editing purpose. Uhhuh. how that goes, y’all. And of course it’s just gonna be a static.

image, Not even a new one. like my prom picture. I’m just kidding. I prom. Oh, Stop it.

You can watch He’s on YouTube and we throw a lot of links at you.

You can get ’em in the newsletter. Sign up for that@theclipout.com. There. There’s all that. Let’s dig in, shall we? We shall.

Crystal OKeefe: Peloton had their earnings call last week. They did. And we’ll discuss it here. We will. You’re like, I don’t know.

I don’t know what happened.

And so how did it turn out? Did they earn anything? They’ve had, I think they said the fifth fifth quarter of free cash flow positive.

In a row. They have, outlined their new objectives [00:05:00] for fiscal year 25 slash 26. And that’s improved Member outcomes. Meet members everywhere, create members for life and operate with business excellence. As far as how the numbers went, revenue was 624 million that exceeded analyst estimates, but reflected a 13% year over year decline.

and That is where a lot of the analysts really focused. Key word anal

Net cash provided by operations was over 96.7 million. That’s that five consecutive quarters of positive free cash flow. The net loss narrowed to 47.7 million. That is a significant improvement compared to the $167.3 million loss year ago.

Okay, so you’re making. Money, but it’s not enough. So they’re mad at you? It’s the free market. They’re always mad. I was just like just feeling like my first marriage and the gross margin improved to 51% over 43.1% year over year. That is because of higher margin subscription revenues. And then the ending the ending paid

Connected fitness subscriptions was 2.88 million.

And that is the high end of the guidance, but again, 6% lower year over year. So the takeaway is financially because they have reduced their costs so much because there has been such a focus on getting their loans under control. Financially they are doing better.

But I think Wall Street is concerned because year over year we’re seeing a decline in subscriptions.

We’re still in a pretty big decline in revenue. 13% is not nothing. No, that’s fair. And then they also raised the revenue forecast to 2.455. To 2.470 billion. Now that’s an increase of 7.5 million from the midpoint of the previous estimates. So it’s the, that is a good thing [00:07:00] because they’re saying the next revenue will be higher than what they thought it would be.

Yeah. That is good. That is all good except for the decrease in revenue.

The other thing that they wanted to highlight was that PACE targets they were talking about how great they have been. And they said that the,

pace targets for the walking and hiking workouts will definitely be coming out this quarter.

Okay. So we have that to look forward to for sure. They said that the strength and meditation content is, is growing really fast. The strength is still the fastest growing category. 2 million members participated in strength workouts every quarter meditation launched. Or it saw 7% engagement growth year over year from last year.

And so they are gonna continue to work on those offerings only they had some sort of strength machine. I know so we’ve talked a lot about on the show about how they’re closing stores, but also they’re opening micro stores. The Nashville Micro store has exceeded revenue and [00:08:00] engagement benchmarks compared to the traditional retail showrooms. So that is where they’re gonna be putting their money. So the micro store, would just have two guides in it.

It’s bigger than that.

It’s bigger than that, but it’s it’s definitely super tiny. There’s not like this huge line of clothing, It’s gonna have one or two things in it, and then that’s it.

It’s less experiential.

It is definitely less experiential. They also talked about their initiatives, like the workout facility at the University of Texas, Austin. They said that drove 1000, near 1001st time Peloton users. And that was the first time that.

They Had college campuses see that kind of growth.

So we will be seeing more of that in the future as well. I guess they got rid of those college branded Pelotons Oh, at Michigan. Yeah. That was a huge fail. We talked about that quite a while ago. Yeah, that was a big fail. Big fail. I don’t remember talking about the fail. We definitely talked about the fail.

Fail starting. We did. We talked about it because they talked about it in their earnings report that they were like, oh, this was a fail. We. need to stop.

Abort, abort. And we just, it just went away. Yeah. Nobody ever talked about it again. And then they said that the team’s feature is like doing really well.

And we on at TCO are like, what are you talking about? This team’s feature needs so much help. It’s not even funny, if You can now comment in it, but if you comment, nobody can see your comment. You know where the notification goes to the little bell that has hundreds of other notifications.

So What is this doing for me?

I want to see the banner notification if somebody makes a comment. Yeah, there’s nothing like that. Like it is super, super, basic. So that needs a lot of work. Hopefully they will continue to do that.

They said that they are continuing to work on programming that the New launches, like the progressive push ride and an overall focus on mobility and strength for longevity are things that they’re gonna be focusing on. We, at TCO notice there’s a huge cricket laden absence of targeted programming for peri and menopausal women. That is. Such a huge market.

Come on, Peloton. Are you freaking kidding me? 80% of our listeners are women over the age of 35. This is an obvious thing to focus on. And they are missing out. And they also talked about how they are going to continue and doubling down on using AI to benefit members and employees. They said that there were over 3,300 classes produced last quarter.

They compared it to a television. Production. In fact, they were talking about how a common season of television, they said eight to 12 episodes. I was like, boy, times have changed. Yeah.

And But they’re comparing that to what they do, which is 3,300 episodes, if you will, in a quarter. And they said that translates to a hundred classes per day.

People asked about what about moving to new countries? And they were like, they’re planning to roll out programming to adjacent countries within the same languages as countries where they already have suggesting subtitles will continue to be a thing. Gotcha. And they’re also really working on the personalized plans, which is another use of that ai.

So we will continue to see more of that. Find Your Power campaign continues and they’re going to. Really walk that line of balancing subscriptions and hardware because the equipment sales were down, but the subscription subscriptions are up. So that’s a good thing. Also, Peloton and pre-core branded equipment are subject currently to a 25% tariff on their aluminum content.

However, that could have already changed in the last week and changed back.

Absolutely.

Absolutely. So there you have it.

Okay. And thank you to her be Elizabeth. Who wrote that and she does not like doing financials. That was her first time. She was really nervous about it and she knocked it outta the park.

Thank you. So on the heels of that, we start to see some new digital marketing. in our Facebook feeds. It’s interesting [because this ad looks nothing like any other Peloton ad I’ve ever seen.

The color this big, bold, blue background, is like nothing Peloton has ever done. Yeah. I don’t know what that means. I don’t know if that has to do with a new chief communications officer that we’re gonna talk about. I don’t know it, I don’t know what it means. But I just think it’s super interesting. Because we’ve never seen anything like it.

Yeah. It just really stands out. I don’t know if it’s good or bad, but it stands out to me. Does it stand out because it’s an eye-catching ad or does it stand out because you’re just like, this is totally different? What’s happening? Would the average person, do you think, be as, would it be as eye catching for them as it does for you?

The only reason that I think it would be somewhat eye catching for the average person, two reasons. One, it’s a big price decrease that they’re highlighting. Sure. And two It, doesn’t put the focus. On a room of any kind. It puts the focus squarely [00:13:00] on the actual equipment. It makes it very clear, very fast.

You’re looking at a treadmill. Right. And sometimes when they have people dripping all over it or running all over it

It’s hard to tell what are we even doing? here is the object of sale in this? exactly. are they trying to sell me a treadmill? Are they trying to sell me the towel?

Yeah. Are they trying to sell me some sort of lifestyle thing? Yeah. these are just like sexy fit people. I, don’t know if that’s how it’s gonna translate, but that’s, the only positive I can see from it. Yeah. There also seems to have been some new apparel. Maybe this is a coincidence, but there seems to be apparel that matches this color scheme now available. Yeah. They had a new collaboration with Lululemon Drop this week, and it just happens to have the same electric blue that is in the Peloton ad.

said, is it a coincidence? I have no idea. I just find it so strange that I never see Peloton use these colors on a regular basis, and now it’s twice in one week. Yeah. That just seems, that seems purposeful. I don’t know [00:14:00] why. I don’t know. How does that mean that every time they change the

To a spring, they’re gonna change the it doesn’t even make sense, So I don’t see how that could be possible, but it just seemed to stand out, so we thought we would note it here. So in the middle of all this, Peloton is now getting a new Chief communications officer. Yeah, we knew Peloton was looking for this role. They also talked about it briefly during the earnings call. That and it’s the first they’ve ever had, they’ve never had a chief communications officer.

Diana Cross will be joining.

It may be Krause, I don’t know, but she will be joining Peloton on May 19th. And she’s gonna oversee global communications, including consumer, corporate, international, and internal communications, and will focus on bringing Pelotons strategy and member impact to life. I’m super curious, personally, if we will then see communication from Peloton again, because.

Where we have had it traditionally has been in the communications team. But they’ve axed all those positions. So I have no idea what that means [00:15:00] for it’s not that big of a deal. It’s just curious. Curiosity on my part. Yeah. So I think it’s interesting in general, so they’ve never, they’ve had a communications department obviously, but they’ve never had a chief communications officer.

Nope. The highest they’ve had is the vp, which was Ben. Wow. I think he was an exec. He might have been an executive vp I’m not trying to talk down what he did. But it’s a different role. It’s not a C-suite. Interesting. It is interesting. I wonder what that means. I don’t know I, think there is a theory that makes sense and that is that, maybe it’s time for Peter Stern to make his mark and he’s just bringing in all these people. You, said that to me off, off mic a couple weeks ago. Yeah. And that could be what we’re seeing. It’s just he wants to have the, a different kind of management strategy. than What we’ve seen in the past. I don’t know.

It will be interesting to see how it plays out. It sure will. Okay. So getting away from the businessy aspect of things, Peloton had a post this week where they had asked members and instructors about their mothers and how mom had impacted their relationship with movement.

Is that what it said? yeah. Yeah. It’s a really sweet post. It was neat to see people

That were like randomly asked in the studio and then have the instructors asked and have ’em, spread throughout to see how different people respond to it.

Having any kind of family can have so many complicated relationships.

And so it’s always interesting to hear what, people have to say. Yeah,

I’m always fascinated by that. I know a lot of people even if they have a complicated relationship

With their mom. Have a very positive view of them, but it’s a tricky subject for people for sure. So I thought it was handled well and I thought it was neat to see.

Yeah. I my mom would just tell me to get my ass off the couch. There you go. And it didn’t work You did so well at t-Ball though. I don’t let me go down that rabbit hole again.

So we talked was it last week? About was last week. Okay. Yeah. About you are can  now configure the leaderboard on the tread

Yes.

To show distance. And we are now seeing that start to roll out on bikes as well. We are, yeah. It’s been reported and we actually saw that over first in our Patreon group. That’s. Part of the perks you get from being over there. Yeah.

KJ Brady sent that to me, but whenever I sent it over to our helper bees and Tipsters, they confirmed that they are seeing it as well.

So it’s starting to roll out, so if that’s advantageous to you, there’s a good chance you got it. Exactly. If you got a bike.

That’s true. That’s true. just be an app user. Yeah. that’s also true. tread. Yeah. Actually, people on the tread, which I did not realize this,

it’s also for app members on the tread, so I assume It might be for bike as well. Makes Sense? And over@theclubout.com. helper, be, Nikki wrote it. article about how to do a pushup. Yeah. It’s, something we talk a lot about. it’s not as, like, any exercise is not as simple as it looks.

It’s like [00:18:00] running like, you think I know how to run. And then like, you actually see footage of yourself and you’re like, I look like a lame Venice. Exactly. I run like Exactly. Yeah. And Nikki went through and talked about how to progress your pushups. This was also in response to Pelotons buildup to pushups program that, Jocelyn Thompson rule

Just put out on the Strength Plus program.

But hey, not everybody has strength, plus anybody who has an Android, anybody who lives outside of the United States Can’t even get to that content. Yeah. So we wanted to get in on the action. And, nikki

is a certified personal trainer. She has her personal training certificate, so she put together how to progress and the different things that you need to do to dial in your pushup form.

Not to mention how to go about in lowering the incline

As you gain strength. There were a lot of really good tips in here, including debunking the 11 pushup rule.

just saying. Good to know. That’s over@thekbo.com or if you sign up for the newsletter. You’ll get it emailed to you. And coming up next, we’re gonna have instructors in the news.

We’re gonna talk about which instructor is launching a newsletter, and what is Rebecca Kennedy recording. So stick around.

Crystal OKeefe: Kira Michelle is launching a newsletter. Her, She is it’s called the Wellness Rebellion. She said You’re gonna be able to get yoga tips, music, book recs, soulful tools and honest reflection straight from her heart to your inbox. She also went on to say in a different post that she was doing this because she is looking to connect with people.

She’s looking for a deeper connection with her fans, for lack of a better way to

Say that. Awesome. Yeah. We see more and more of these newsletters I know. Rolling out. Yep. Yeah.

Money, ’em. I don’t either. Strike while the iron is hot. Absolutely. Rebecca Kennedy had a post over on the gram of her [00:20:00] recording studio doing God knows what. Yeah. Clearly she was recording, but we don’t know. What she was recording was it? Was it content for Peloton? Maybe she’s dabbling as being an audio engineer. You never know. she’s always wanted to be an audio engineer it is something that

She might aspire to.

Yeah, you never know. We don’t know. We don’t know. Yeah.

Yeah, it’s interesting. This could be for all I know, this is like where they do their outdoor content or where they do something like, their, some kind of commercial. Maybe she’s gonna be the next instructor on Waze. I have no idea.

Yeah. But it’s fascinating. Yeah, for sure. And I’m here for it. So we will keep an eye on this one. Let’s get an audio book. You never know, maybe she’s gonna do audio books of all the other instructors books. Too late. They’re already, there’s already audio versions out.

and They already did them Get the Ben Elvis book as read by Rebecca King. Fabulous. So you had mentioned earlier how Peloton seems to be missing a demographic hole with the menopause [00:21:00]community. Robin Arza is leaping into that hole. She, sure is.

She included in her. swagger.Newsletter this week. All about menopause. And she talked about like how she is leaning into it.

She talked about how she’s learning from experts like Dr. Mary Claire Haver, one of my faves. And women like Halle Berry who are bringing awareness and visibility to this phase of life. My question it’s interesting because protein is an, she’s got the usual suspects of things that everybody says when they say, this is stuff you need to look at.

Which is true. Yeah. But what I wonder, is this indicator that Peloton is looking into this she’s the VP of content, senior vp. She’s way up there. And I, don’t exactly know how her job versus Jen Kotter’s jobs like intersect. But I would say that with both of them.

Being women, they might be interested in going down this road. So I would like to hope. Yeah. I would Like to hope. I really, think that Peloton needs to jump on this bandwagon. Yeah.

If, nothing else, it indicates that it’s on someone’s radar over there. Yeah. But Christine’s been talking about it for a while.

She’s even a spokesperson for companies like midi. And I’m trying to think some of the other instructors I think Jen Sherman’s mentioned it a time or two. I feel like there’s been another instructor that has, but Christine has definitely been the one who said it the most, but I feel like

Robin. has more, like, because of her position being in management.

I just feel like it’s, a stronger indicator than when Christine does it. or Jen Sherman does it. No, I think that makes total sense. Nikki, busy this week. Very busy. Put out another. I guess annual edition.

Is it going to be a tradition? She did it last year, right? So too, we’re hoping. Yeah, I’m hoping it turns into annual, the TCOs, senior Superlatives. Yeah, it’s Peloton Instructor Superlatives. And this is the Peloton yearbook class of 2025. This is brilliant. I, love this so much. And for example, best thirst trap.

Eric Yeager. Even John Hosking agreed it should be here. Eric Yeager. I’ve been trying so hard. I know honey. And then she has exhibit A through D. Yeah, In case you needed. to know.

I would think they’d all be exhibit D. Wow.

Another one of my favorites, cutest couple, Alex Kowski and his shorts.

The man does not do a class without these short shorts and we are here for it. And, this is just a little tiny glimpse. You know what, if you like the short shorts so much. Yeah. We are going to Disney in two weeks. So are you gonna wear the short shorts? you want me to parade around the park in short shorts. You gonna do that for me? You’ve got great legs? You should, you totally should

I feel like you won’t though. Yeah, there’s the luck. I’m sure the kids would love that. I don’t think they would  even care. But Sydnee would care. I don’t think she would. I think she would care. I don’t.

But anyway. Nikki’s humor. Seriously, this is a love story for the ages. While other instructors rotate their wardrobes, like fashion influencers, Alex stays devoted to one tried and true. Dress code thighs out, always out, flies out. No matter the season, no matter the workout, those shorts are showing up and showing off. This is where I think though, my favorite reaction to this article was this week, John Hosking actually did an entire intro to his class about his, and it is the, my favorite out of the entire article.

Yeah. She called him the, perfect boyfriend. The best boyfriend and She had a whole bunch of reasons why. And if you listen to this, you will hear all about it because he reads the entire thing himself.

ScreenRecording_05-13-2025 12-42-52_1: But what I thought I would actually touch on quickly is a blog post [00:25:00] in something that Eric has sent me. It’s on the clip out a Peloton fan podcast where they have put together the pellet on yearbook class of 2025. Eric sent it to me and I know why he sent it to me because in all of the different awards.

He wins Best first trap, which I agree with E Eric is a walking thirst trap. I’ve started training quite recently a lot with Eric outside of Peloton, and he’s a walking first trap. And then we have got, where are we going with this? We’ve got best besties. Eric Yeager and John Hoskin. She a nice touch. But what I re but what I really wanted to bring your attention to actually was best boyfriend

John Hoskin. You scrolled down and find it. We have absolutely no clue what Husky’s relationship status is, but after his Valentine’s Day visit to PSMY, it honestly doesn’t matter. He became everyone’s boyfriend that day and we’re not mad about it. Whether he’s handing out roses to members in real life or showing up in [00:26:00] full Cupid gear to surprise mate, ma Giacomo in the tread studio.

John radiates romantic comedy energy in the best way. Thank you so much. Thank you. I’m not even, I am trying, am I trying? I don’t know. I honestly, anyone that smooth with a rose might have a future on The Bachelor. We all accept that final rose. Whoever holds the key to that British heart, consider us all a little jealous.

Wow. That’s the story. That’s the story. Enjoyable.

Crystal OKeefe: That is so awesome. It is so awesome. So if you’re wondering if the article’s worth your time, take it from John Hoskin. That’s right. It’s worth your time. Absolutely.

Crystal OKeefe: The latest artist series features. dear. Janae, Aiko Janae Aiko. That’s how I was gonna, that’s what I was guessing. I have no idea if that’s how you say it. I was that’s the same.

We did.that. That’s really good or really bad. I don’t know. This is one of those interesting artist spotlights in that they only [00:27:00] have one class.

So this is, it’s spotlighting a API heritage month. Then the other thing that you need to know is it is only one class. It’s a slow flow with a didi that took place May 12th it was on demand? It dropped on demand. But it’s, it says flow to the ethereal sounds of singer songwriter Janae Aiko in A centering celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. I think that’s awesome. Yeah, for sure.

And the artist series, everyone is losing their mind over. It’s true. Especially Jonathan Bradlow. Is he? I don’t know. I haven’t seen anything high schoolers, beasty Boys. That’s true. He will tell you a story. I’ve never met him where he hasn’t, I know God bless him. love him. I love him. so much.

He’s, But hey, if I went to school with the Beastie Boys, I’d probably be doing the same thing. That’s great. Yeah. That is fabulous. It’s the Beastie Boys. You should check to check, Should check it out. You should, and there are lots of opportunities for you to do it. There’s a full body strength with Andy. There’s a ride with Dennis.

There’s a run with Jess King and a row with Alex. K. I’m very excited about this and Nikki and I both cannot take these classes live, so we are going to set up some time so we can take them together and I’m very excited about that. Awesome. Yes, my Castle fries only come in one size, no sleep till Brooklyn.

That was totally on my playlist whenever I ran New York City Marathon. It has to be. And they played it in Brooklyn. Like they, there’s always music. There’s like people playing live. music and There was like, that was on. in Brooklyn. Yeah. All we’ve got is meet me in St. Louis. Yeah, that’s, it does not have the same vibe.

It does not. No. Yeah. Not nearly.as exciting. It doesn’t inspire anyone to run harder in a marathon. It sure won’t unless it’s maybe you dance. Better. You’re running away from it. That would be me.

Crystal OKeefe: And speaking of marathons.

Past guest Carrie SoCal on episode 2 72. But she [00:29:00] was on one way, way early, she? was.

Yeah. That, was that might’ve been the yeah, she’s been on twice. she’s been on twice.

And I think it was before we had transcripts ’cause I searched the website. Oh. it probably is. Yeah. Yeah. But she was on the New York Road Runners set the Pace podcast. She sure was. And if you haven’t heard the episode with her she, her leaderboard name is Marathon Mom. She was girlfriend to Howie Before Howie passed away. And She is on a journey run a hundred marathons.

Before she turned 60, her last goal was to run All 50 states and in Canada 51. And then. The, last she, I, God, I’m gonna cry, but whenever she, was on her last state, which was Hawaii. And she ran that the week after Howie

Passed away. I have no idea how she did that, but [so incredibly inspiring.

She has run 74 marathons, so if you haven’t heard her story, you should listen to it on, set the pace and maybe come on by the clip out and hear it over here too. Yeah, maybe we should next time we see her, put her on the spot and ask her who did the better interview. She’s probably gonna say, Rob.

I think she might, yeah. Plus she probably got to go into their little studio.

in New York City, which is So much better than Zoom. at our house. It came to our studio, but she could have, I’m sure it’s not nearest impressive.sure  it’s not.

And coming up after this, we’re gonna dig into content. If you are struggling with what classes to take are overwhelmed by your choices, we will help you narrow it down right after this.

It is time for the TCO top five where I struggle to describe this. And then Crystal, our new editor takes it all out. What I like to say is that it is.

Classes curated by the clip out community.

Oh, I see. Yeah. Okay.

I feel let’s let you start doing it.

You don’t even need me for transitions anymore.

I’ll be upstairs. No. Okay, so item number one, your favorite walk. Okay. So this class was taught by John Hosking on September 7th of 24. I see What. Go, Hang on And It was taught by John Hosking. what’s going on what he, gives us a nice shout out. Suddenly he’s number one at the TCO top five.

No, I think something is a foot. Something is a foot. But not what you think. Jen recommended this class. she says. This is how Tina wrote it and I love it. Dr. Jen Mann recommended this, and when Dr. Jen talks, we listen. That is true. It is true.

So this is what Dr. Jen said. She said, this is the best eighties walk ever.

Of course, John Hosking brings his amazing energy and contagious smile to the tread. The class [00:32:00] is so much fun. If you’re struggling to get your ass on the tread and get moving, this is a class for you. It will totally change your mood and make you smile if you haven’t taken it. I highly recommend it.

Okay.Number two, your favorite ride also, John Hoskin. What is going on? No. that’s Cody. can you nottell? I know they’re both wearing red t-shirts. blindness. Oh. This class was taught by Cody

And it was a 20 minute tee time with Cody from May 6th,

And Katie Bromley loved this class. She said, if you enjoyed Cody’s XO series, this will help fill the void. Cody is witty in his banter and had me laughing out loud. I loved this ride. three, a yoga with John Hoskin.

No. This class was taught by Kira Michelle, and it was a 15 minute yoga drills back bends. Sarah Lester recommended this class. she said. don’t let the back bends scare you off. No, back bends are done in this class.

It’s about working toward a bend with back strength, hip opening, and some mil, some mobility of the shoulders and upper back. I’m not sure I’ll ever do a back bend, but I will definitely have this class on. Repeat number four, your favorite holiday themed ride. Okay. Emma Lovewell taught this class on May 11th, and it was a 30 day Mother’s day ride, and of course.

Emma just became a mother in the last year to baby Skylar and Lindsay Milan enjoyed this ride. She nominated and said it was inspiring and motivating with a good playlist. And then finally, number five, your favorite un. stackable. Okay, so this was taught by Mariana Fernandez, and it was a 60 minute intervals run on March 23rd of 25.

So this class can actually be categorized as unst stackable, but doable.

Now, that is according to Danette, Royal Giles. Danette says, this class was perfection and the intervals were challenging, but achievable. It does include 50 minutes of running, but the most challenging pace doesn’t happen until the end.

That being said, members rated it an 8.3 outta 10, so you know you’re gonna get a [00:34:00] great and challenging workout. Okay, we’ll now take a look at what’s going on. This week at Peloton, we have the debut of Progressive Push. It’s not the debut, it’s the debut of Leanne teaching Progressive Push.

Ah,the first person to teach Progressive push was last week, and I can’t remember who it was already. Benny, it Was it? No, he’s answering questions about it.

He is, but He’s the next up. after Leanne. I’m already forgetting who it was, but John Hokey. It was a 45. Oh, it was Hannah because it was push push crew.

Ah, Hannah Frankston. There we go. Yeah. Okay. This one is taught by a Leanne Hanby. It’s gonna be a 45 minute progressive push ride, and it’s going to be on demand starting May 14th.

So by the time you hear this, it’s already out there for you.

There are a bunch of other classes that are coming out this week that you need to know about, though. Okay. Like the 90 minute long run with Mariana. Yes, exactly like that. It took place on May 12th. At noon. It was, like you said, 90 minutes. I love these classes and Mariana just is the best.

And we have a 20 minute kettle ball, strength and conditioning Kettlebell, dammit. I always say kettle ball. A Saul is teaching this class. It drops on demand on May 14th, and it was a 20 minute strength and conditioning class. I think this really surprising thing is, I’m not saying kettle porn. That’s true. And then relax and recharge with Dennis. Also dropping on demand on May 14th. This is a 20 minute evening yoga flow and a 10 minute breathing meditation. And if you have questions about

Progressive push. Benny, Adam has answers. Yeah, he’s got he had, he, maybe he was next one.

And then Leanne next because his is on May 11th, so I don’t know, But he’s in there somewhere. Yeah, he is in there and he’s answered questions and it’s really, it’s interesting to us. Elizabeth brought this up and I thought, I think it’s a really good point that this is probably the first series we’ve seen that has multiple [00:36:00] instructors like this start.

the uk.Most of them start in the us. And then the UU UK picks ’em up. is the first one that has started and then made its way around to the US Interesting. Okay. We just had Mother’s Day last weekend, but they have added all sorts of classes.

If you want to continue to celebrate your mother while you run or Yeah, they dropped the list of these over the weekend just in time for Mother’s Day, but there were a ton of ’em. There was an outdoor walk and run with Robin. There was a run, a walk and run with Mariana.

There was a ride with Christine and then on Sunday there were tons, including several brand new classes, Stroller walks. They had a stroller walk with Jermaine, a walk with Emma and a walk with Callie. They also had, a walk with Kirsten, Emma, and a yoga flow with Anna and another walk plus run with Jess King.

And if you can’t get enough of stroller walks. That’s right. So [00:37:00] it’s interesting during the earnings call, one of the things that was said is that Peloton is gonna be focusing on more in, in real, in life events.

And here is one of such events, right? A stroller walk with Cali in real life it and takes place in Jupiter, Florida on May 16th. And whether you’re a mom, to be or showing up for a mom you love. You’re invited and it’s gonna be at this amphitheater in Jupiter, Florida, and you get to take a real walk with Callie.

How fun is that? How about that? Maybe I could finally do something like that. Do you think you could find a stroller that would fit me? No, don’t, I don’t. Can you do a stroller walk together. I am gonna pass on that. I’d be in there with a little sippy cup of Coke. Zero. That sounds right.

that sounds right. Yeah. A Little sippy cup. And then you would also have your little hat on. And you would be napping some biter biscuits. And napping.

On May 13th, they added a Jewish American heritage ride with Jen Sherman. It was 20 minutes, and they also added on May 11th, a 10 minute Jewish American heritage meditation with Anna Greenberg. And that took place on May 11th. And then there was, I’m sorry, I can’t find the other one. It was a Jewish American heritage walk.

It was a 20 minute one with Maddie. That I’m not sure what day it, it dropped on because I can’t open it, but it’s out there somewhere. Oh, there it is. May 6th. I think it’s on May 6th. Thanks, Tom. Reserves super helpful, that’s what I’m here for. If you like hills and you like We have more rolling hills content for you. We do. Mate, is it safe to take MDMA while you’re running? It’s it’s not that kind of rolling.

No.

Oh, it’s like hills that Undulate as you run over them or bike over them. Ah, actually in this case it’s all biking.

I was like, that sounds even more dangerous than Hidden Hills. But There’s, no MDA in here though Not I’m saying this makes more sense ’cause I was like they. hills are dangerous. True. You see ’em coming. That is true. now you’re on MDMA at the same time. We don’t, we don’t want that.

We don’t recommend that. Okay.this type of Rolling Hills, there’s a 30 minute Rolling Hills ride with Cliff that’s in German that came outta May, 12th. There’s a Rolling Hill ride with a Robin on May 16th. There’s a 15 minute one with Hannah Corbin on May 23rd, and looking to the end of the month, 20 minute Rolling Hill ride with Dennis on May 30th. these all EDM classes again? no,

No. It’s not that kind of rolling. Oh, I see.
