If you’ve been eyeing Peloton’s bike offerings, there’s an important update that has sprung up in our view this morning. 

The Peloton Rental program has officially shifted gears—now, the only bike available for rent is the Bike+. That’s right!

No word on what is causing the change, but since Peloton is in cost cutting mode, it could signal the Peloton bike is in the process of being phased out.  It also could be a temporary measure, allowing Peloton to juggle their inventory amounts to comfortable levels before resuming the program. Either way, we’ll keep you updated as the situation evolves.

If you’ve been curious about bringing a Peloton bike into your home but were considering the original Bike, you’ll need to take a step up to the Bike+ with all its additional sleek features … not terrible news in my opinion… What are your thoughts?
