Menopause Classes: Peloton Introduces Expanded Menopause Health Collection

Peloton has launched a series of new menopause classes tailored to individuals navigating perimenopause and menopause, strengthening its commitment to evidence-based, inclusive fitness offerings. Developed in partnership with Respin Health, these classes are part of the platform’s Menopause Health Collection, which focuses on improving bone density, joint stability, and overall metabolic health during a pivotal stage of life.

New Class Types Support Bone Health and Pelvic Floor Strength

This launch brings two notable additions: Weighted Vest Strength and Floor Cardio, and Jump Training. Weighted vest sessions are designed to safely increase resistance, promoting bone strength and muscle endurance. The introduction of Jump Training provides controlled, plyometric exercise to help boost bone health, support joint stability, and maintain metabolic function. These are all important aspects for lifelong wellness. These classes complement existing offerings like the HSS Bone Health Collection, which presents further resources for members interested in skeletal health, led by Joslyn.

Initial Thoughts and a Surprise On Screen

I happened to take three of these classes the day these all dropped: Joslyn’s Jump warmup (her 5 minute class is actually a warmup once you open it), Katie’s Jump training, and Rebecca’s Weighed Vest Low Impact Cardio.

Interestingly, in both the warm up and the class, they talked about eventually building up to a box jump. To prepare, Katie used an “old school” Step. Don’t worry if you don’t have one or if that’s not a progression you’re planning. Broad jumps are there for you!

Both of these classes were a structured focus on the mechanics of the work. I found them similar to some breathing meditations. Things like breathing and jumping seem like some of the most basic actions a human can do, and yet, we really benefit from slowing down the processes involved.

I take RK’s Low Impact classes now and then, and she said this one, wearing a Weighted Vest, would be slowed down from her usual as our bodies get used to the feeling. I don’t actually have a vest and don’t plan to get one, but, I enjoyed the class the same as her others. There was less choreography and it was more of a solid body weight class hitting all the areas.

I did hold a dumbbell for some of the moves. I had a light sweat going by the end and I’d actually recommend this to any beginner for this class type, to explore it without the vest! But if the vest is for you, I can see how the added weight would make this more interesting.

New Menopause Classes Demonstrate Commitment to Member Well-Being

Alongside the expanded menopause classes, Peloton has redesigned the Menopause Health Collection to help members more easily find classes and build a balanced weekly routine. The refreshed collection now organizes offerings by day, guiding users through seven days of recommended classes designed specifically for perimenopause and menopause.

With clearer structure and targeted programming such as Jump Training, Weighted Vest Walks and Hikes, and pelvic floor-focused Core Strength, the update makes it simpler for members to access effective, relevant support throughout the week. Although, members should always check with their health provided before following any plan to make sure it’s safe for them.

Peloton’s latest update affirms its focus on supporting diverse health needs with research-driven, practical movement options. By collaborating with Respin Health and drawing on its 2025 partnership launch with HSS, Peloton is extending its reach to members at every life stage, providing relevant, accessible programming.

What do you think of this new programming? Will you be trying these classes?
