Meet the Adorable Peloton Dog Who Desperately Needs a Forever Home
We cover a lot of Peloton news here at The Clip Out, but this Peloton dog adoption story might just be one of our favorite things that we have shared all year. A 5-year-old male Rottweiler mix named Peloton is currently available for adoption at Prince George’s County Animal Shelter in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. If you have ever seen a workout photo featuring a doggo stationed next to its owner’s Peloton and thought “I need that in my life,” or if you simply want to help spread the word about this sweet dog named Peloton, please keep reading and then share this article far and wide.
Who Is Peloton, and Why Is This Peloton Dog Adoption Story So Special?
Peloton, whose shelter ID is A567704, is a 5-year-old male Rottie/Pittie mix has a face the shelter describes as one that tugs at your heart the moment you see him (those eyes!!). According to the adoption post, he has a gentle, easygoing personality that shines through even on the days he is not feeling his best. At the time this post was shared, Peloton was dealing with some mild (and very treatable!) sneezes and coughs, but even when he’s a little under the weather, his calm and loving nature is still on full display.
What makes Peloton an especially great find is how well he walks on a leash. The adoption post highlights how well he stays close in a relaxed heel, making him a wonderful fit for someone who enjoys getting outside for a walk on the Peloton app without the chaos of a high-energy dog pulling them down the street at a break-neck pace. His overall energy is calm and manageable, which makes him a great match for a mellow household.
A Boy Who Just Wants to Be Close to You
According to the adoption post, if you are the kind of person who loves a dog that leans in and soaks up every bit of affection you have to give, Peloton is your boy. This sweet velcro pup will happily trade all personal space for cuddles. He has some healing abrasions on the tops of his feet, but he is incredibly tolerant and easy to handle, which says a lot about his temperament and trust in people.
His soulful expression is the kind that makes you want to scoop him up and give him all the treats and all the nose boops and the coziest home to land in. And honestly? He deserves it. Peloton look like he’s the definition of a dog who has so much love to give and is just waiting for the right person to give it right back to him in return.
