JPMorganChase Athlete Council Launches With Ally Love, Tom Brady, Dwyane Wade, and A’ja Wilson
Ally Love is now part of one of the most high-profile athlete initiatives of 2026. JPMorganChase announced the launch of the JPMorganChase Athlete Council on Wednesday, March 18, with Love named as one of nine founding members alongside Tom Brady, Dwyane Wade, Megan Rapinoe, A’ja Wilson, Sue Bird, Jalen Brunson, Alex Morgan, and Kayvon Thibodeaux.
The group is dedicated to building financial literacy for athletes across every level of competition.

What the JPMorganChase Athlete Council Is
The JPMorganChase Athlete Council is a financial literacy initiative built around the reality that athletes face a distinct and often compressed financial window. Most professional athletes retire before age 35. Nearly one in six NFL players has declared bankruptcy within 12 years of retiring. Less than two percent of college athletes ever turn professional.
JPMorganChase created the Council to build a program by athletes, for athletes, designed to reach them from college through retirement. Members will meet periodically with JPMorganChase executives to shape programs that address those needs directly.
Dwyane Wade, the three-time NBA champion and two-time NBA Hall of Famer, chairs the group. The Council held its inaugural meeting at JPMorganChase headquarters in New York on March 18.

Ally Love’s Role and How She Got Here
Love’s seat on the JPMorganChase Athlete Council grew directly out of a personal connection. She crossed paths with Kristin Lemkau, CEO of J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, at a U.S. Open tennis match. Lemkau made the case that the financial services industry tends to compete for the most prominent names while largely ignoring the athletes who need the most support.
Love shared publicly at the March 18 event that early in her career she had felt embarrassed to ask financial questions. At her first meeting with a bank, a reference to ROI left her confused because she thought “Roy” was a person’s name. That experience is exactly the gap the Council is trying to close.
A Council Built for Scale
The founding members of the JPMorganChase Athlete Council bring credentials from across professional sports. Brady brings seven Super Bowl rings and decades of experience navigating athlete finances. Rapinoe, a two-time World Cup champion and Olympic gold medalist, has been outspoken about financial empowerment for women in sports.
A’ja Wilson, the four-time WNBA MVP, represents a generation of women’s sports athletes now earning at levels the industry has historically underserved. Sue Bird, a five-time Olympic gold medalist and WNBA champion, was named the first-ever managing director for USA Women’s Basketball. Jalen Brunson and Kayvon Thibodeaux anchor the active NBA and NFL contingent.
JPMorganChase has pledged to reach 500,000 college, working, and retired athletes through the program.
Why This Matters for Peloton
Love’s appointment to the JPMorganChase Athlete Council is a signal of how far her public profile has grown. She is listed on the Council’s official materials as “Peloton Instructor + VP, Instructor Strategy & Development | TODAY On-Air Contributor | Founder & CEO, Love Squad,” a description that reflects the multi-platform career she has built.
Those who have followed her journey from her TODAY Show contributor role to her recent (Re)Build program launch know that Love has never stopped building. When a Peloton instructor sits across the table from Tom Brady and Dwyane Wade at JPMorganChase headquarters in New York, the Peloton brand is in the conversation at a different level.
