Congrats are in order for Peloton cycling, strength, and Tread instructor Emma Lovewell and her fiancé Dave Clark as they just welcomed a baby girl!

According to Emma’s post on Instagram, Skylar was born “healthy and right on time”  at 42 weeks and 4 days.  

Lovewell, who announced her pregnancy in late February, has been glowing since she released the news that she and Clark are expecting.  Emma not only taught cycling classes but added Tread hikes into her class offerings all the way until the end of July, when she officially went out on maternity leave to wait for baby.

The couple had not revealed the gender of their little one during her pregnancy, citing they wanted to keep it between the two of them.  Emma also revealed to Parents magazine that they would be choosing a name for the baby after the arrival, wanting to see what names fit the little one after meeting him or her.

The glowing mom (back when she was a mom-to-be) was showered by friends and family in late July in a backyard event, including some familiar faces and fellow Peloton instructors.  

Emma plans to return to both the bike and Tread after spending some quality time at home bonding with her new little one and her fiancé and adjusting to being a family of three.  She plans to practice postpartum confinement, a 30-40 day period of rest from the Chinese culture, where she will focus on rest, recovery, and bonding with her baby girl.  

Congratulations to Emma and Dave, and we wish her a speedy postpartum journey – we cannot wait for baby pictures and to see her back on the Peloton platform!
