Celebrate Fall with All Things Peloton — Our Favorite Fall Peloton Picks

Now that  summer has moved on and fall is upon us,  it’s time to celebrate the season.  Take care of your physical and mental well being with and a few of our favorite fall Peloton things!

Sam Yo’s Autumn Recovery Ride

Sam’s 20-minute ride gently moves us into this season of reflection and stillness with a mix of pedaling and meditation. Sam encourages us to find clarity and peace and to reflect on our growth – what have we accomplished and what goals have we set that we have not yet accomplished?  This class offers plenty of moments for meditating and focusing on our breath.  At one point, Sam instructs riders to reduce their bike’s resistance gradually, encourage riders to focus on a return to their true selves.  This ride did not have live riders, just Sam being his calming, authentic self, in a gently lit studio.  Take this ride to pause, reflect, and enjoy the relaxation that autumn can bring.

Erik Jäger’s Oktoberfest Ride

This 30-minute ride was ridiculously fantastic and absolutely fun (and also in German).  Erik’s lederhosen along with the music made this ride a party on the bike!  Since traditional Oktoberfest songs increase in tempo, it was easy to increase speed on this ride without having to think too much about it.  Also, although this ride was not categorized as an intervals and arms ride, there is a very short weighted arms section in the middle of the ride as Erik used light weights to mimic  beer steins!   Erik also leads  riders in using their arms in a traditional Oktoberfest dance (I felt an awful lot like Chevy Chase trying to keep up with the German dancers in “European Vacation” in this section of the class).  In addition to traditional Oktoberfest music, this ride also has a great German version of “Major Tom.” There are plenty of other Oktoberfest classes as well, including strength, runs, and even outdoor walks – just search “Oktoberfest” on the Peloton platform – these classes are so fun, you’ll forget you’re working out.

2024 All For One Classes

If you’re missing all those great summer music festivals and outdoor concerts, All For One classes are for you, and you can find them all under “Collections.”  Each of these classes’ music is solely from one artist, making these classes feel like a mini concert from your favorite performers, or providing an opportunity to explore new music from artists you’re not familiar with.  Make sure you check out Hannah’s 20 minute Keith Urban Ride, where Keith gives us a live concert in the studio during the ride, and Robin’s 30 minute Tainy Ride, which celebrates Latin American Heritage month and includes some of  your favorite instructors as riders in the class. Pick your favorite artists and modalities of workouts, and sing along!

Peloton’s Fall Apparel Edit

What’s better than sipping your pumpkin flavored drink while riding one of the fall classes mentioned above while wearing comfy Peloton branded workout gear in trendy fall colors!  Nothing!  Check out the newest apparel colors, including colors that mimic fall foliage, like “red grape,” “brick red,” and “ash.”  Choose from the usual sports bras, leggings, tanks, and shorts, but also treat yourself to a soft fleece hoodie or even a towel set in trendy fall colors.

Enjoy your fall workouts and let us know which ones were your favorites.
