Anna’s Yoga + Pilates Classes Go Deep… Core, That Is!
Peloton’s Yoga + Pilates Classes Taught By Anna Greenberg Get a New Focus
Fans of Anna’s “Y+P” burners are screaming… oh wait, that’s our abs recovering from class, haha! Since debuting earlier this year, this has been an incredibly popular class type for Peloton members. And now, these amazing combo classes are getting a new four-part series focusing on our deep cores!
What is Yoga + Pilates?
When Anna debuted these classes in January 2025, we helped members understand what to expect in this article. Since then, at least for me, these classes have become a staple in my routine. Combining the ease and expansiveness that comes with yoga, with the form focus that comes with Pilates, Anna’s been taking us on some fiery adventures. Using the predictable elements of Pilates like the Series of Five and some of her favorite yoga poses, these classes are a great way to build a complementary full body practice. And, they say Jess Sims “ruins songs” but you don’t know how that feels until you hear the music switch from more mellow yoga to the beat drops of the 2000s hip hop tunes Anna loves. Just kidding, I love them too and I’m here for it!
What’s New in the Deep Core Classes
Anna took to Instagram to give a brief overview of what’s the same and what’s changing. Fans of the current format, fear not! I think you’ll like what she’s cooked up.
- New: Pilates sections will be 90s not 2000s music (yoga will remain mostly deep house… yesssss).
- New: Both yoga and Pilates sections will use a prop: the overball! You can purchase Anna’s rec from her Amazon link here. (Don’t worry if you haven’t got one, they are great but a block will work too!)
- New: Each section is longer and the total number of switches is fewer (but will still alternate).

Will You Try Anna’s Deep Core Yoga + Pilates Classes in Her New Four-Part Series?
Personally, I highly recommend these classes as they are great for so many people. Novices get solid intros to both yoga and Pilates basic movements while advanced types can play with challenges (who remembers the 45 minute class with TWO Copenhagen plank sections?). Not only does this type of workout give you great form reminders that you can take into other classes, it also provides alternatives to some movements that may not be working for you on a given day in a Peloton Core class. Anna brings such energy and enthusiasm to this teaching, why not give them a shot? You’ll get stronger and hear some great tunes at the same time!
