TCO Top 5 Favorite Peloton classes: Stay motivated with this week’s picks (01/08/2025)

Last Updated: January 8, 2025By Tags:

Every Monday, we ask the Clip Out community to share their favorite class from the last week. Your stories of love, sweat, and tears always inspire us to keep moving. We are excited to share the five most enthusiastic nominations (in no particular order) and a quick review of each class. Read on for our weekly dose of motivation!

This week’s favorite Peloton classes:

1. 12/30/2024 20 Minute New Years Day Full Body Stretch with Matty Maggiacomo

2. 01/05/2025 45 MInutes 80’s Ride  with Jenn Sherman

3. 12/17/2024 45 Minute Power Zone Ride with Denis Morton

4. 12/30/2024 30 Minute Top 10 Ride with Cody Rigsby

5. 01/02/2025 30 Minute 90’s Ride with Emma Lovewell

Why you loved them!

Sometimes it’s hard to pick just one favorite (clear by the number of bookmarked classes we have to “take later”), but these reviews make it easy! Here’s what the TCO Community had to say about their favorite classes from the last week.

1. Favorite Stretch

12/30/2024 20 Minute New Years Day Full Body Stretch with Matty Maggiacomo

Stephanie Adams (#Woodsy44) nominated this stretch.  She said “the stretch itself is so good, and Matty says things that really resonated with me.  He breaks down big ideas into very doable pieces.  He’s just the best!”  What a relaxing way to start the New Year while you take care of your body and mind.

2. Favorite Ride

01/05/2025 45 MInutes 80’s Ride  with Jenn Sherman

Cristina Ribeiro (#LilPowerhouse) recommended this ride, as did Shari Slater Rosenberg.  Both Cristina and Shari loved the playlist for this ride, full of, of course, 80’s music!  Cristina added “I generally refrain from recommending one of Jenn Sherman’s classes because ALL of them are my faves and all of them are highly recommended.  But I would love for everyone to take this ride.  It was the first Sunday ride for Jenn in 2025 and it was just incredible.  80’s fans will absolutely love it and I guarantee they’ll bookmark it too!”  Songs by Billy Joel, Poison, Pat Benatar, and The Police will take you back to the days of big hair and neon leg warmers as you sweat it out.

3. Favorite Power Zone Ride

12/17/2024 45 Minute Power Zone Ride  with Denis Morton

Thom Gilday nominated this ride, saying it was a “perfect blend of Zones 3 & 4 with great music to carry you through the class.”  Denis always picks great songs for his rock rides, and this class is definitely no exception.  Enjoy tunes by AC/DC, The Doors, The Beatles, Lenny Kravitz, Hozier, and Phish, to name just a few.  Denis’ coaching and this great playlist makes this class fly by!

4. Favorite Top 10 Music Class

12/30/2024 30 Minute Top 10 Ride  with Cody Rigsby

It was hard to pick which of the Top 50 Music classes to take – there were so many modalities for every block of songs.  Lindsey Millan nominated this ride as her favorite, though, saying she loved it and that it was “so good!”   This ride focused on songs 1-10, meaning they were the most loved songs by both Peloton instructors and the rest of the Peloton community.  Cody included his usual themes, encouraging everyone to be the best versions of themselves and giving a little bit of snark about some of our choices from the prior year.

5. Favorite Ride to Welcome Back an Instructor

We’re skipping the unstackable class this week (everyone seemed to be in chill mode from the holidays) but we’ve replaced it with a ride that many were glad to see – Emma Lovewell’s first ride back after maternity leave!  We’re so glad she got to spend time with her little one, but we’re also very glad she’s back to the studio with her inspiring rides and great core classes.

01/02/2025 30 Minute 90’s Ride  with  Emma Lovewell

This ride was nominated by Anastasia MascarellaAnastasia said that this ride “was a blast!  For Emma’s first ride back, she brought awesome tunes and an amazing ride.”     This class was live at 8:00 a.m. and over 80,000 members have taken this ride!  Emma picked music by Daft Punk, The Backstreet Boys, the Beastie Boys, and the Foo Fighters (an Emma favorite!)  As Emma said, she was “back, baby – from having a baby!” and was focused on bringing “good vibes” to the ride.  Welcome back, Emma.
