Hyrox Peloton Partnership

Peloton Partners with Hyrox

Peloton and Hyrox: A Collaboration of Strength and Community

Peloton has always been about pushing boundaries, and their newly-announced collaboration with Hyrox is no exception. This Digital Training Partnership brings together the best of Peloton’s fitness expertise and Hyrox’s global fitness race format, creating a unique opportunity for members to challenge themselves in new ways. Here’s everything you need to know about this exciting collaboration.

What is Hyrox?

Hyrox is a global fitness race that combines running with functional fitness challenges. Participants complete eight stations (Ski Erg, Sled Push, Sled Pull, Burpee Broad Jump, Row Erg, Farmers Carry, Lunges, and Wall Balls), each separated by a one-kilometer run, testing their endurance, strength, and mental grit. Unlike Peloton’s virtual and studio-based workouts, Hyrox takes fitness into a competitive, in-person arena, offering a unique blend of community and athleticism.

While Peloton focuses on accessible, at-home fitness, Hyrox emphasizes in-person competition and functional fitness. However, both share a commitment to fostering community and pushing personal limits, making this collaboration a natural fit. Also, Peloton instructors really love it!

Peloton Instructors Took on Hyrox New York

Eight Peloton instructors participated in the recent Hyrox event in New York, showcasing their strength and camaraderie. Among them were Robin Arzón, Tunde Oyeneyin, Marcel Dinkins, Adrian Williams, Logan Aldridge, Joslyn Thompson Rule, Marcel Maurer, and Andy Speer. Their participation not only highlighted their personal fitness journeys but also inspired the Peloton community to explore new challenges. Check out past experiences with Robin and Benny Adami here!

Highlights from the Event

Check out all the behind-the-scenes action in this video!

  • Robin Arzón and Tunde Oyeneyin: Robin, a seasoned Hyrox participant, expressed her excitement about competing alongside her close friend and colleague, Tunde. “To do it with a strong friend as a girlfriend, like go all the way hard,” Robin shared. Tunde joked about the post-race pizza and beer but was equally thrilled to push herself in the competition while having fun.
  • Marcel Dinkins: For Marcel, Hyrox was a chance to overcome post-injury fears and embrace a new athletic challenge. “I think subconsciously maybe there’s been a fear there. I’m too old to hesitate,” she said, emphasizing her determination to move without fear.
  • Logan Aldridge: Logan, an adaptive athlete and Hyrox veteran (check out his IG for past competitions), sees Hyrox as an opportunity to inspire others. “Hopefully other one-armed adaptive guys see it and think, ‘Oh, 90 minutes. I could probably do that,'” he said. Logan also highlighted how Hyrox allows Peloton instructors to take their fitness expertise from the gym to the community. This aligns very closely with Peloton’s recent announcement about meeting members out where they are.
  • Adrian Williams and Andy Speer: Adrian and Andy brought their competitive spirits to the event, with Andy noting, “It’s my first competition in quite a long time, so I’m very excited about that.” Adrian’s energy and camaraderie added to the event’s vibrant atmosphere. If you are a fan of Andy’s TS60 classe, you already got to experience the Hyrox style workouts in his recent June sessions. Andy adding burpees to his programming? Yes, for Hyrox even he will do them!
  • Joslyn Thompson Rule and Marcel Maurer: Representing Peloton’s London team, Joslyn and Marcel brought their unique energy and expertise to the competition. Their participation underscored the global reach of both Peloton and Hyrox.
