Peloton Kicks Off New Strength for Soccer Programs in English and German
Fall is here and for many, that means soccer season is upon us! Whether you’re a weekend warrior or just want to try a fun new training focus, Peloton’s just-launched Strength for Soccer Program is here to help you boost your strength, mobility on or off the pitch. Let’s break it down!
What’s the Buzz About?
The Strength for Soccer Program is a 7-day fitness-fest designed to push your entire body to achieve peak performance. And the best part? You get to choose your coach! Join Erik Jager for classes in English or Marcel Maurer for sessions in German. Both will guide you through a series of exercises tailored specifically for soccer players.
What You’ll Get:
- Strength Training: Build those muscles to power through every match.
- Mobility Drills: Improve your flexibility and prevent injuries.
- Agility Exercises: Enhance your quickness and responsiveness on the field.
Why Strength Training for Soccer?
You might be wondering, “Why is strength training so important for soccer?” Great question!

Get Ready for the Whistle!
Here’s how to get started: these classes are nested in Workouts under Programs, each language/coach is its own Program. Right now, these are appearing near the top but over time and as more Programs are added, you may need to scroll down.
If the rigidity of the Peloton Program function is not what you are looking for, these classes also stand alone under Strength, with the wording “…for Soccer” at the end of the class name, and you can filter by your preferred instructor. Note that one of Erik’s classes in the Program is actually in the Stretch tab.
