Charlotte Explores the Science of Motivation in First 90-Minute Power Zone Endurance Ride

Last Updated: February 20, 2026By Tags: ,

Charlotte Weidenbach will lead her first 90-minute Power Zone Endurance Ride on Friday, February 27. The session will focus on the science and psychology of motivation. The ride will be in German-language (and we hope there will be English subtitles once On Demand). It begins at 3:00 AM Eastern Time (ET), 8:00 AM London Time (GMT), and 9:00 AM German Time (CET). This event adds valuable endurance content to the platform.

Understanding Motivation Through Dopamine

During the Power Zone Endurance Ride, Charlotte will break down how motivation works. She plans to discuss dopamine and its links to human behavior. The 90-minute ride gives her time to go deep on key questions. What do you need to stay motivated? How does motivation work in your brain?

Power Zone Endurance rides use steady effort to build aerobic capacity. You won’t see high-intensity intervals here. The format lets riders focus on Charlotte’s educational guidance. She combines physical and mental endurance to help athletes learn skills for their own training.

Sharing Stories of Setbacks and Motivation

Charlotte hopes the Peloton community will help shape this Power Zone Endurance Ride. She asks riders to comment on her Instagram with their stories. What fuels your drive? What setbacks have you faced, and how did you overcome them? She invites examples of success as well. You can comment on her post with your story.

The Power Zone Endurance Ride will likely highlight these community stories. Charlotte will connect scientific facts to real-world experiences. This grounds the discussion of dopamine and motivation in the everyday realities of Peloton members.

The class will run in German at 3:00 AM ET, 8:00 AM GMT, and 9:00 AM CET. These times support riders across the UK, Germany, and North America. If you miss the live event, you can access the ride on demand at any time.

You can learn more about Charlotte in The Clip Out’s recent article on Peloton Hidden Gems. The feature shares her background and coaching style for those unfamiliar with her. With the session approaching, you might be wondering: will Charlotte bring any metal tracks into the mix or return to her signature Rockstalgia favorites for this ride? We’ll have to take the ride to find out but we say YES!
