Peloton Adds Rebecca Kennedy to Pilates

Rebecca Kennedy Joins Peloton Pilates Team

RK Brings Big Energy to the Pilates Mat

Get ready to go from zero to a “hundred” (see what we did there? 😉 ) with Peloton’s newest Pilates instructor, Rebecca Kennedy!

Fans of Rebecca’s style of teaching know that when she shows up on your screen, you’re in for a high dose of fun. With a variety of classes ranging from traditional Strength to her newer and super-popular Split programs, to Dance Cardio (and for the choreographically-challenged among us, Low Impact Cardio), to her Standing Core Collection and her Walks, Runs and Hikes, is there anything Rebecca can’t do? As a former professional dancer (who majored in Dance in college!), she brings that high-kicking energy and physiological expertise to everything she does at Peloton.

Lately, Rebecca has been bringing a wonderfully circumspect approach to her Strength classes, acknowledging and approaching aging with a smart but fun mindset (hey, it happens to the best of us, even Peloton instructors!). We are excited to see what flavor she brings to Pilates here, three years after it launched, as she looks at fitness and wellness through this new lens. However she serves it, we know it will come with her signature Ba Bow energy! Her first live class is slated for October 7th with weekly installments to follow.

Peloton Pilates Gets Stronger – and So Do We!

Pilates image

Pilates is a growing subset in the Strength modality on the Peloton platform. Combining a focus on deep core strength and body conditioning, it involves precise movements, controlled breathing, and muscle engagement. These classes may look basic but believe me, they are no joke! Peloton offers new Pilates classes currently with Aditi, Anna, Mila, Irene, and in the On Demand Library, with Kristin McGee, who introduced the use of props in Pilates to Peloton members (these are also in a Collection). Rebecca seems like a natural fit here — and she is — but did you know this is not her first entree into this modality here? She was among the group of instructors who offered Pilates classes back in 2020-21 when Peloton first launched it as an option within Strength (check out their launch here!). If you search back, you will find classes there from Rebecca as well as Emma Lovewell, Hannah Corbin, Ally Love (our resident dancers!), Kendall Toole, Jess King, and even Sam Yo!

Have you tried Peloton Pilates yet? Do you already love it as a regular part of your Strength stacks? Let us know!
