Cody Rigsby Introduces His Monsters At Work Character

Noted Disney fan Cody Rigsby is officially a Disney character!  Last October, Cody let it drop that he had joined the cast of Season 2 of the Disney+ animated series Monsters at Work and yesterday, Cody officially introduced us to his animated alter ego, Reese from Spin-ergy.

You can find Cody…errr, Reese…in episode 2 entitled “The C.R.E.E.P show.” Episode 2 finds the MIFTers teaming up with Mike and Sulley to represent Monsters, Inc. at the C.R.E.E.P. Show, an energy convention where they aim to promote Laugh Power to industry professionals.  You can view the full episode below, and Boo’s part begins at the 5:09 mark.

Cody’s Disney Past

It’s no secret that Cody loves Disney. He even has a Mickey tattoo on his arm!  And, this isn’t the first time that Cody has dipped his toe into the Disney character pool, either.  During his stint on season 30 of Dancing With The Stars, Cody brought A Goofy Movie‘s Powerline to life when he took a spin around the dance floor with partner Cheryl Burke as they performed a  Jive to Tevin Campbell’s “Stand Out.”

Monsters at Work

“Monsters at Work” is an animated series on Disney+ that serves as a sequel to the 2001 film “Monsters, Inc.” The series follows the story of Tylor Tuskmon, a recent graduate from Monsters University, who dreams of working as a Scarer at Monsters, Inc. However, after discovering that the company has transitioned from scaring children to generating energy through their laughter, Tylor finds himself reassigned to the less glamorous Monsters, Inc. Facilities Team (MIFT). The show explores his journey as he adapts to his new role and aspires to become a Jokester, navigating the comedic and heartwarming dynamics of the workplace along the way.

Seasons 1 and 2 can now be streamed on Disney+.
