Triathlon Triumph for Mariana Fernandez

Congrats are in order for Peloton Tread, yoga, and meditation instructor Mariana Fernandez! She took it to the pavement and water as she competed in San Diego’s International Triathlon on June 23, 2024! The event consisted of a 1k swim, 30k bike ride, 10k run which is no easy feat, and Mariana blew away her competition by placing second in her age group – females ages 35-39!

Mariana, a seasoned marathon runner (she’s run the NYC Marathon three times!), completed the course in 2:14:31 while being cheered on by her family.  She ran her 10k with an average pace of sub-7:00, coming in at 6:53 – incredible!  She completed her swim in less than 18 minutes, placing 67th out of 255 participants, and kept an average pace of 16.61 for her 30k ride.

Mariana released the details of her triathlon on her Instagram stories, surprising many of her fans who were unaware she was preparing for such a monumental event.  Leave it to Mariana to keep us on our toes and surprise us with her first (to our knowledge) spectacular triathlon finish.  Congratulations, Mariana from The Clip Out and rest up after your race, but we cannot wait to see you back at PSNY very soon!
